DON’T BUY DOMESTIC CARS!
I have 2013 Encore. At 65,000 miles the turbo went out(cost $2200); the catalytic converter went out lol(cost $2000) and several other problems. Total cost was $6000. This is the first domestic car I’ve ever had and I will NEVER buy another domestic car. I’ve always had German and Japanese cars And they have always been great. Expensive Union labor is what you are paying for on a domestic car.

Riddled with problems from get go
This is a vehicle that needs something repaired at least every 6 mths and at a cost of $200- 2000 when it does screw up. -Awd works when it wants to. -Have lost power in heavy traffic for no reason light just cane on saying reduced power happened at 9,000km!!! Very scary dangerous on highway to lose power with transports behind you. You litterally go from 80km/hr to nothing in seconds giving no time for any vehicle behind you to stop in time. Had to replace an electronic part in wheel that the dealership tried to say was not on warranty would of cost $2000 had to argue and contact Buivk direcrly to have ut rectified. Happened again year after this time had to re-teach a sensor??? -Windshield wipers work when they feel like it usually never when it rains though -Had to replace antifreeze/coolant reservoir, hoses, and pump at 90,000km -Had to replace entire drive shaft at 64,000km -3 of the continental tires all blew their belts within a mth of rach other at 48,000km was forced to replace out of my own pocket they did not honor the tire warranty -Paint began chipping and flaking off around door handles even though anti corrosion unit is installed at around 70,000km -Roof top peice flew off and is missing happened at arpund 20,000km -Drive belt and bearing replaced at 80,000 -Rear seatbelt clasps had to be replaced due to recall -"tear" stains from license plate section on car -"tear" stain all down side of var from mirrors that apparently are not water tight I could go on this car is a xxx. Not worth a oenny I paid for it. Biggest regret ever. DO NOT BUY A BUICK ENCORE TOTAL GARBAGE

I love this 🚗
I drove my 2013 Encore off the showroom floor. It was a luxurious step up for me in terms of interior comforts. I especially love the heated seats and steering wheel. The cup holder design needs a lot of work - they were skimpy with them. Overall, I am still in love with my Encore - more leg and headroom than 90% of other vehicles on the market - I know, I tried 57 other models before finding my Encore.

Easy to drive
This car is easy and fun to drive. It is on the small side but the perfect size for what I need. Big enough to fit a mountain bike (with the back wheel off). Better than expected in the snow, more power than expected and the interior is great!

Best car I have ever owned
I drove this car for six years. It had very little road noise. Mine was the 2013 Convenience level with options of premium wheels, nav.,Bose, cargo mat and moon roof. It averaged 29 mpg. It was enjoyable to drive and easy to park. It had a good crash rating also. I bought a new 2019 Encore and passed my old Encore to my son. He drove it for several months. Until this Nov. 2019. When a van driver ran a stop light. This is where the good crash rating came in. The car was totaled with the front end smashed in, all the airbags engaged and did their job my son walked away with only some pulled muscles. I would recommend this car to anyone basis on my experience.

Owned this car since new
And after having searched & tested all the usually reliable foreign models, there was just something about this car that spoke to me. Price was right, love getting 30mpg in town. It handles a midwest winter with AWD, yet has that comfy drive Buick owners are used to. And no we're not all senior citizens! It's yet to give me a problem outside of normal maintenance. Bought in Arizona when I lived there and worked brilliantly in the heat. Back home in northern Illinois and I have the same experience, even in below zero she goes & goes. Nice cruiser!

worst car I ever owned.
The 1.4 liter turbo engine is a disaster. Cracked value manifold, 2 catalytic converters, water in the electrical system. Check out the TSBs. Way more for this engine than most cars. Do not buy this engine. I traded a Subaru Forester because the styling was so pretty. I've had problems since 50k miles and GM does nothing except say there are no recalls. Can't wait to get rid of it
