Gas Guzzler
The Enclave is very comfortable and nice inside and outside. However, it is terrible on gas mileage. I get about 14.5 MPH on everyday driving. I haven't used the car on highway driving much to measure highway MPH.

LOVE my Enclave
I tend to get a new car every 2-3 years and so far the Enclave is my favorite. I am one that extensively researches all big purchases the family makes especially cars. We needed a 7 seat crossover and money was not an option so I was fortunate to be able to look at all models - foreign as well as US made. I do have to admit, I would be willing to buy foreign only if it was a vehicle I ABSOLUTELY loved. US made is my preference. I liked the Lexus, Acura and Audi but where we live, service would have been difficult and frankly I didn't love them enough to want to bother with the trouble. As soon as I drove the Enclave I knew it was the one. It rides similar to the other high end crossovers and I liked the interior much more. I traded a loaded 2008 Tahoe LTZ and they share some interior features which I liked. Things I like the best: quiet ride, smooth ride, cooled seats, dual sunroof, SmartSlide middle buckets, storage space. Things I don't care for: Gas mileage - surprisingly the Enclave gets about the same mpg I was getting in the Tahoe. The middle row bucket seats should be auto folding - the Tahoe had this feature and it was great. Rain sensing windshield wipers is also missing - again the Tahoe had this feature and GM should have this available as an option on all high end vehicles. All of these things I can live with (or without) otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the Enclave. I am very happy with my Enclave and have no reqrets whatsoever. Buick definitely got it right.

Nice looking vehicle, rides nice, AWD good in snow
Overall, good. We have not purchased American suv's in some time. Was impressed with the space and bucket seats and initial impressions were good. Only have 7000 miles on the vehicle, purchases in October. Disappointed with many areas. Doors are very hard to close. Have a 12.5 and 14 year old and we are constantly requesting them re-close doors in back. Front left door made noise, sprayed WD40 on hinge and seems to make less noise. Front right of vehicle sounds like there is a wind tunnel. Realize they promote air tight and quite ride, but not close to import suv's. Leather seats are not full leather. Front leather seat makes noise when sitting on it as pleather/leather rubs on plastic base of seat. Disappointed that these are basic functional areas that the vehicle falls short. Double sun roof nice, but would be better if has actual closures vs. cheap plastic/mesh slide outs that are difficult to close. Again, only 7,000 miles and leather appears to be quite worn. Love Bose and Ipod interface. No sunglass holder in vehicle. Very nice ride overall. That is our favorite attribute. Somewhat disappointed in overall gas mileage and purchase for the money as a whole. Regret we did not look at certified imports. Sorry Buick, we tried and are suprised at number of functional issues we are having with a vehicle after only 7000 miles.

Certainly Fitting of the Buick Name
After having four Buick Park Avenues, the last being our 2002, we were spoiled with the comfortable ride and the luxury of the vehicles. They also gave us exceptional gas mileage and safety with the comfort. I wasn't happy with the Lucerne or other Buicks as a replacement for the Park Avenue line so I held off buying for quite some time. I maintained the 2002 Park Avenue well and had over 150,000 when we passed it on to our daughter and her family. The new Enclave has the comfort and feel of the Park Avenue, although you are riding a lot higher. We feel even safer in the new Enclave and appreciate all of the safety features that are built into the vehicle. It has more than adequate room for everyone in our family when we go on trips together. Every new person who rides in it comments on how well it rides. I ordered the backup camera and sensor system as I had the sensors on my Park Avenue and it saved me many times during my nine years of ownership. Everything has performed as promised with the only exception is that I haven't been totally satisfied with the highway mileage that is advertised. Overall it is a fantastic vehicle for the price and I am glad that we bought it.

2nd Enclave in Family
We purchased our new 2011 Enclave after hearing our daughter and son-in-law rave about the 2008 Enclave they bought new 3 years ago. They replaced a Mercedes SUV while we replaced a Volkswagen Passat Wagon. We compared closely to Mercedes 450 and Toyota Sienna (including our own driving test and various website reviews), but preferred the Enclave. So far has lived up to expectations.

Bought when I wasn't Set to Do So
I had researched the vehicle for months, even here, compared vehicles to each other. The Enclave topped everytime. What I find to be neat:The double pain windows to reduce the noise level, remote starter, theft protection, online diagnositc report, best comfortable seat for driving, all the tech equipment, low enough to step into yet high enough not to be car leveled, tire size (19), onStar of course/handsfree system, cool/heated seats, various lighting (outside), Boise sound system, 2nd row seats will move, third row not close to back window, leg room everywhere..I had even shopped for GM cars while staying in the Marriott in the GM Center...never owned a Buick...proud to be an owner

Most luxurious car
This is by far the best vehicle I have owned. The ride is smooth and quiet. We drove it on vacation and had loads of room. Seating comparable to mini van without looking like one on outside. Fuel economy could be better, but didn't buy vehicle for that reason. I feel it competes with other luxury brands without the high prices.
