December 30 2024, Hanover Toyota illegally sold me a car that they knew wouldn't pass inspection. The inspection was due a month after I purchased the car. After five months of owning the car, I had a meeting with their CEO and used car manager. They agreed that they had to buy the car back. After the meeting, they illegally had me drive the car for three weeks (the car was never inspected) until they could "find" me another car. While being put in the situation where I had to illegally drive the car, I hit my first deer in 22 years of driving. Now they're denying that the car wouldn't pass inspection and are trying to dodge responsibility for their actions (when I hit the deer, I took pictures of the out of date inspection and emissions stickers). On top of that, they're REFUSING to give me the full amount of my cars trade-in value and the down payment. In fact, at this point, they're refusing to give me anything. I was never considered a valued customer. Just ask the CEO Loni Smith and Mike Brown, the used car manager.
