Poor service shop. Decent sales
I have purchased three vehicles from Basil. Im satisfied with all three sales but not at all satisfied with their service or extended warranties. They offer free oil changes. I would make an appointment but still have to wait 3-5 hours for an oil change. when my vehicles have problems their service shop never fixes them properly. Recently went in for the check engine light being on. They “fixed” it by bending a pin they said. They returned the car to me after charging me over $100 for the diagnostic and the check engine light was still on. Had to take it to another service shop as usual. Their extended warranties are usless at other shops. You will only get small discounts on service. Stay away from this place for auto repairs. We will not be buying any more cars from them.

Service appointment
Bought my car here 3 years ago, no big issues there. They offer free oil changes for life. Every time I come in it takes way too long. If I schedule a 12 pm appointment for a procedure that takes 20 mins I don't expect to still be waiting 2 hrs later. And have them relentlessly try to get me to trade in my car or suggest expensive repairs that aren't necessary. Not happy

Fast and efficient
My salesperson Ray was very easy to talk to..I told him what I was looking for and at what price, so him and the finance dept got it done..and this is why I went to basil for my 3rd car in a row with them. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

No pressure
We have been here multiple times over the years and Joe was always helpful and easy going. Joe understands that if the car isn't right that is ok. This time he had the perfect car for me and it is now in my driveway. So glad to refer Joe or Sandy to any buyer.

Waste of time
I brought my car into basil resale on Sheridan, it was my first oil change for my new car so I scheduled my appointment ahead of time. It took them 2 1/2 hours to do my oil change! And after that the "service" center employees were more concerned with eating their lunch instead of letting me know my car was all set. I had to walk up to the counter n ask them if I was all set and could leave, and they just said yes n handed me my keys. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable!! They can keep their free oil changes for life, I will never go back there would rather pay for one than go back there! If anyone ever says they're thinking about getting a car from there, I will strongly advise them to go elsewhere.

Oil change and interior detailing
Ryan was awesome ! He came out to my truck to show me some features I never knew existed ! Very professional and through. He was enthusiastic about my brand /choice of truck and reenforced my positive feelings of being a Basil client.

They will waste your time
After inquiring online I was called and invited to come check out the car . They checked the status of the car and it was available . When I arrive to the dealership on the appointed date and time they tell me that's it been sold even thought they emailed me that morning to make sure I was coming in. Then they try to find me some other cars . I leave and they call me to apologize for what happen and ask me what I'm interested in I tell them what other cars I'm interested in. They promise to have them there for me to test drive and so we set up and appointment and boom I show up on the day and time . GUESS what !?!?! The same xxxxxxxx happens again . They waste my time having me come in again, after emailing me that morning to reassure my appointment. It's a xxxxING xxxx SHOW in that place . SORRY For my language, but what do they expect . They aren't considerate at all of people's time at all. I'm 24 and have had over 5 cars from Various dealerships... Northtown, West Herr, Towne Mini and Paddock Chevrolet and by far this is the worst Dealership that I have had to deal with . The professionalism in this plac is by far the worst!

Should have listened to everyone & not dealt with Basil
I have been basically begging for my second key to my Buick Verano I purchased one month ago, (July 1st-2nd), My salesman said, key will be sent in the mail, (I live 1hr away)... Ignored voice mails, directed to non-working voice mails, returned texts that are excuses, I have even called corporate., Although they cannot do a thing for me, because it's a 3rd party dealer, they did give me a case number and took all information, Very disappointed, Salesman was very nice while selling me the car, now he doesn't know me, typical.. Should have listened to everyone who said do NOT deal with Basil... ~Kara
