I had a bad encounter with Prunion.

I had a bad encounter with Prunion. He is a xxxxx. He was not a sympathetic salesperson to work with. He is stuck up and conceded. He is a bad apple. He said he had enough of me, well let me tell you this Mr. Prunion, I had enough of you. I made a visit to FJ from the San Gabriel Valley. There are several dealerships here, but there are reasons I decided to goto Carson. New building and complimentary drinks. Good inventory selection. Prunion ruined it for me.

We ordered the car specifically type model color waited over 3 weeks when it comes in we scheduled a day to pick it up and called the day before stating they won’t hold it it’s been sold

I had an excellent run through the entire process from first introduction to Michael C to signing on the dotted line to complete the purchase of my Corolla hybrid. I like to think I have a pretty laid-back approach to life so Michael certainly had to encompass a chunk of my sometimes wacky sense of humor when dealing with me (and particularly my dodgy eyesight without my reading glasses). He walked me through the paperwork excellently so there were no surprises or guess work needed from start to finish. A good amount of patience too particularly with my bank when it became apparent that there was a transaction limit I wasn't aware of that was lower than the deposit I wanted to put down. Bottom line is don't hesitate in visiting this dealership if you're after a new car.

Bad service, they just give you the runarounds and don’t

Bad service, they just give you the runarounds and don’t help you at All. They will tell you that yes you do qualify for a truck and then they say that car/truck is not for you and try to get you to leave more deposit

I sold my old Prius and wanted a new model. I called this deal and spoke to DANIEL he found the perfect car for me and made me a VIP to stop in and test drive a Brand New Prius Prme! I bought the 2023 Toyota Prius Prime SE from SAM! They were the only ones who had the car and had great service! Everyone was quoting me 5-8k over MSRP but Carson Toyota made an offer I was happy with! Great service and excellent selection of vehicles.

Worst car dealership experience ever! Go elsewhere

After going to the LA Auto Show on 11/19/2023, we visited Fletcher Jones Toyota of Carson on 11/20/2023 between 6:30 pm PST and 7:45 pm PST in search of a 2024 45th anniversary edition Toyota Supra in white paint after spending hours calling other Toyota Dealerships in the Southern California area looking for one in stock or available to reserve. They were the last place we called before we stopped our search. Chris Avi spoke with us on the phone and let us know after asking if they had any Supras available at their dealership that one was available for reserve after the original person who had the car on reserve decided to pass on it. They said, after asking if they were willing to sell us the car at MSRP (about $65,000), if we were to come down and reserve it and offer a low mileage trade in, then they were more than willing to do so and willing to pay top dollar even beyond what was offered in Kelly Blue Book’s site for a fair trade in because of Black Friday deals going on for Thanksgiving. They also mentioned the dealership would try to sell a car at more than MSRP and were simply looking for a buyer serious and willing enough to work with them to buy it. Later on 11/20/2023, we drove over 1 hour to their location. As soon as we arrived, we quickly learned there is a sudden 10,000 markup on the car and the lowest they can reduce the mark up was 5,000 above MSRP. They lied to us from the very beginning we were on the phone so we can go to the dealership and continued lying to us and waste more than an hour of our time. We gave them a chance to see what they can do even after the initial lies and we were as patient and understanding as we could be. Even then, they still continued lying to us. We talked about trading in our Black 2017 Honda Accord LX with 28,555 miles in excellent condition and Kelly Blue Book priced the trade in value at $17,257. They appraised it for 14k and kept saying that was the price given to them from kelly blue book. We were prepared and we showed them the car is worth $17,257 dollars in trade in value in KBB’s site. Samer Alshlool, our sales rep, offered us to speak with his manager, Tamer Ahmed, directly after sharing with Samer how frustrated we were with the lies and their low offer for our trade in and after showing them the webpage straight from Kelly Blue Book's website of the fair trade in value our car was worth. Again, this was still after trying to give them another chance to make things right after initially lying to us and trying to upsell the car above MSRP. We spoke with the sales rep's manager (Tamer), who said the most they can reduce the markup of the car was $8,000 versus $10,000 and that our car was worth less than 14,000 and we could make more money off of the car by selling it on our own. We told him we are not in a rush to buy and fed up with the games and the lies. If they were not willing to be honest with us and offer a better deal, then we were going to walk away. The manager could care less if we walked away and refused to empathize with the horrible experience we dealt with since we arrived at their dealership and gave us a smug attitude and offered to let us go. Of course, we walked away, and had to ask for our car's keys and my driver's license they asked for earlier when they began appraising the car. Please do not waste your time at this dealership. Fletcher Jones Toyota of Carson would rather lie to you to come to the dealership and make a quick profit than to do their job and give their customers a fair and honest sale. We may not even buy a Supra or any other Toyota made vehicle anymore moving forward. The experience at Fletcher Jones has completely ruined the Toyoya brand for us. My wife and I will never look at any Toyota the same again. It's just gonna remind us of the worst car buying experience we've ever had. At this point, we will just continue sticking and recommending our friends and family members with Hondas.

Insurance requirement was not mention before/on scheduled

Insurance requirement was not mention before/on scheduled pick up date, even after obtaining a full cover written policy with insurance agent while working with the Sales Rep finalize the sale contract during the pick up night, still was not willing release the vehicle, which caused extra day of delay. The Sale Manger, Tamer Ahmed, was not willing to work with customer after the contract was signed (trapped!) Was particularly inquired the vehicle would comes with 2 keys on delivery, however, only received one, missing one FOB. No ETA when will deliver. I felt everyone was super friendly and helpful until after I signed the contact, I was very disappointed and definitely will not come back again.

I was so impressed with the deslership.

I was so impressed with the deslership. I have been looking for a Camry Hybrid, which are hard to get right now. I have been struggling to find a saleperson who was honest and would do what I asked. I had done lots of homeowork and I knew what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. Several other dealships wanted to add additional upgrades in order to sell me a car, and increase their profits over my needs. I was so frustrated and ready to give up on my search. When I met Juan Cabrera I so surprised, he was a man of his word. My car was in the date he told me it would arrive and at the price I had asked. This dealership and Juan made this the easiest transaction I could hope for. I would HIGHLY recommend the dealership and Juan. Thank you for making this an enjoyable experience. If you are thinking about a Toyota, buy from this dealship. They are AMAZING!!!!
