I had an incredible experience at east hills VW of sayville.. their team was welcoming and professional. A special thank you to Roseanna, she was absolutely fantastic! She made everything so easy, stress free and actually pleasant (which is something you don’t always expect when purchasing/leasing a car). She was knowledgeable and patient and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my decision. I’m so grateful for the amazing service and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a smooth and positive car buying experience..

I had an amazing experience working with Salesman David Murphy at Easthills VW, He was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free. I never felt pressured, and he took the time to answer all my questions about the Atlas Cross sport that I purchased. I highly recommend you David Murphy when looking to purchase your next vehicle.

Test drove a different model than what was bought, but wasn't told it was a different model. We couldn't test drive the model we wanted because it didn't have gas in it. When we left the salesman told us we had to come back to put car app on the phone. 2 weeks later still not working. Gene Damico the general manager was the worst person I have ever dealt with. He said we have to deal with Volkswagen and not him. I highly suggest going to a different VW re Subaru dealership.

I spoke with sales amd during conversation was informed that the selling price advertused was after them taking a $2K down payment. She said they advertise this way because everyone else does it. And, she was just telling me the "fine print". Avoud dealers that play these games. Youd trust them to inspect a used car carefully and honestly after price bait and switch?

Dear Careful Buyer, We take great steps on our website to ensure all of our vehicle pricing is transparent and any down payments are properly disclaimed. I'm sorry you feel it was not clear enough. Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Auto Group pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com

Troy, Gene & Prescott are wonderful people and made my new car purchase the easiest I've ever done. As a woman it's infuriating trying to buy a car, but the team here made it so smooth and worked with me after listening to me rant about another dealership trying to take advantage. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

This is my 4th vehicle I bought from East Hills all because of the great service department. I live in Nassau Country and drive an hour each way to Sayville just to get my car serviced. Bill and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, courteous. If it were not for their service department I would would not have bought my 2nd, 3rd and 4th vehicle from them. Keep up the great work!!

After many visits to over a period of YEARS with Sayville and then VW East Hills for a faulty sunroof leak, they (VW EAST HILLS) finally diagnosed the leak with a solid answer after many vague and unacceptable ones and replaced the seal and sunroof frame on my vehicle which they found 'accidentally' or without intent - Sad to see their finding it was after acknowledging a "manufacturer's defect with adhesive, then trying to charge me for a pro rated part which was actually eventually covered under warranty). When the car was returned, it was returned dirty with stains on the headliner and the sun visor not working properly failing to close all the way and with tools in the vehicle. I have worked with VW corporate and failed to receive a formal response from VW East Hills. There are other issues too long to describe here, but though I love my VW, the service at VW East Hills has really fallen down at the end of the game. Very disappointing. Now I have to go back again after many visits to have a new problem addressed after I am not sure the old one is even correctly repaired. VW support from Corporate has been Better than Average, but VW from East Hills at the end of the game just didn't deliver the goods. It's sad to see customers pushed to the point of breaking after dealers appear to not listen to customers on problems. If they did all they said, it's too bad that we are here now because they continually were unable to resolve the issue or have improperly returned the vehicle with damage to it. This will be followed up with a complaint to New York State Consumer Protection using a CONSUMER COMPLAINT FORM from the Department of Consumer Protection and a complaint to the Motor Vehicles using form VS-35 with the NYSDMV covering in some cases vehicles under warranty beyond 3000 miles and warranties in writing.

Dear Thomas, I’m sorry that this is the first I’m hearing of the issues with your sunroof. The resolution to the manufacturer’s defect enabled us to replace the sunroof frame and seal. Up until that point, the manufacturer’s instructions were to perform the repairs we did. The pro-rata coverage was due to a miscommunication as we fed the cost through the manufacturer’s defect warranty, which required a pro-rata charge. As soon as you told us you had a separate, manufacturer warranty that was outside of the warranty that came with your vehicle, we changed the charges. Regarding the stains on the headliner, the sunvisor not working properly, and the tools left inside the vehicle, there is no excuse for this. This is not how we conduct business. It was relayed to me we’ve offered to clean these stains, repair the sunvisor and remove the tools. When is a convenient date/time to do this? Would you kindly let me know? Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Auto Group pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com

Dominique was the best! It was the fastest and most pain free transaction ever! No pressure. No xx- she just listened and found me exactly what I asked for- even a little better! Gene in finance worked hard to get me a great rate, and sitting with him start to finish was less than 20 min signing before I was able to drive my new 2023 Tiguan SE home. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I look forward to taking my daughters back in the near future for their own cars!
