Bad management and bad service , I was at this location for oil change and regaliar check up. At next day I was driving and all my dashboard lights went on and I never had any problems with my car before this service. When I went the next day to speak with the manager he refused to talk with me and he said to me go to talk with your lawyer

I am a nurse practioner, first responder. I have had a nightmare experience with Liccardi Mitsubishi, 12/4/24 ,I drove from CT to NJ to purchase a car. I left a dealership not being educated about the temporary plates, or a title. This is a financed car. I called the CT DMV to get my car registered and was informed I cannot do it as I do not have the title. I was notified by CT DMC that I am driving illegally since I do not. have temporary license plates and without the title I cannot register my car in CT. Paul Palermo has been a nightmare to deal with, I have called CT DMV and NJ DMV- as Paul insisted I needed to do my own registration. He also accused me of taking off the temporary license plates (that I was never given) and putting on my owen. This is illegal and I would never do this, as I am educated Nurse with a masters degree. I had to do my own emissions on Tuesday 1/7/25- the southport automotive informed me that if am was stopped by the police, my car could be impounded. Franticallt, I called Paul and indicated, he insisted I do my own registration (without the title) and as per CT DMV I cannot do this. I have spoken to a Honda dealership, in Westport and Westbrook CT who alsoinformed me that the inspections, emissions and safety check had to be done at time I purchased my car. Paul also accused me that I had not paid the down payment, yet on 12/4/24 he obtained a copy of my credit card. 1/7/25 I again called Paul and he told me he :over nighted temporary plates." I called again on 1/8/25 and stated at 8pm I had not received them, he then admitted he not over night them, but would receive in 2-3 days. Thursday 1/9/25 there was no mail due to Jimmy Carters funeral. Today, 1/10/25 I still do not have the promised temporary plates.. This dealership has been nothing but a nightmare, in my opinion ,unethical and not once have taken ownership, just deflected, and blamed the client. I'm a nurse have have to drive to the hospital for work, this experience has caused additional stress. I have filed a complaint online with NJ MVD and contacted a NJ attorney. I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Products dept. My daughter had to call today 1/0/25,on behalf of me to get clarification of where the temporary plates were. Paul's VM was full and she could not leave a message. She spoke to the GM, Jim directly. He looked into the issue and mentioned the plates had to be resent and finally provided a tracking number, after she proactively called to look into this urgent matter. No one should have this experience what I have had and to be continuing to experience, driving illegally. The manager has refused also to provide to me the owners information several times as I wanted to file a direct complaint with them (Jeff Liccardi) Horrible experience, unfortunately no client should have to lose complete trust in a dealership. Everyone was very nice. The dealer offered great rebates and interest rates. I was looking for a used car but I was able to get a new car with the rebate promotion. My salesperson Michael was incredible! I never felt pressured or intimidated. I typically dread car shopping but Michael made the whole experience very pleasant.

Buying a car is a huge purchase and commitment and it is one you don’t make hastily, But more importantly because this is not a light decision you want the customer experience from the time you step foot on the property to when you leave with the car to be top notch.
