“There is no losing in life — you either win or you learn.” – Nelson Mandela I learned immediately a crack in the windshield driving the car off the Ford parking lot. I did what any reasonable customer would do contacting used car sales manager, Robert Wolf, expecting understanding and professionalism. Instead, I learned I would be called a liar and met with sarcasm and a dismissive question about whether “everyone was okay from the accident.” I learned that not only would Robert Wolf refuse to help, but he also hid behind Ford’s inspection checklist, claiming that if the inspection had passed, the problem must have been my fault. I learned the 130-point Libertyville Ford inspection is their tool for deception. I luckily took a video of the car the day I purchased the car excited to share the video with my wife. The cracked windshield was shown in the video with a picture attached. I learned I would rather have dealt with the BIG BAD WOLF himself than Robert Wolf. When compiling all the evidence -and hours of work and time- dealing with the staff at Libertyville Ford asking for the windshield to be repaired and sharing the video and pictures, I was offered a small “discount” as a gesture of goodwill but once that offer was made, communication stopped. I learned my follow-up messages went unanswered. I learned when I was no longer a valued customer; I was treated like a nuisance. I learned I would have to pay for the windshield replacement myself. But I also learned something much more valuable: clarity. I learned that Napleton Ford in Libertyville doesn’t stand by their sales, their inspections, or their word. So take it from someone who learned the hard way — if you care about honesty and fair treatment, do not buy a car from Napleton Ford in Libertyville.

Napleton Ford provided quality and professional service and the new car was in fantastic condition upon delivery. Richard the sales consultant was extremely knowledgeable and professional helping me navigate all the controls in the 2026 Platinum Explorer. I truly appreciate his time explaining the workings of this amazing vehicle.

We had a great experience working with Michael R! He was friendly, easygoing, and took the time to understand what we were looking for. There was no pressure or pushy sales tactics—just honest help and patience throughout the process. He was also kind and respectful with our kids, which we really appreciated. Overall, Michael made the car-buying experience comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend working with him!

I love the Napleton-Libertyville guys! Rich was our sales guy. He was so easy going, listened to what we wanted and made suggestions without being pushy. He helped us get the best deal! Bob made the finance process run smoothly and took the time to walk through all our questions and concerns while also being mindful of our time.
