My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Lexus of Freeport. The facility has a huge selection of cars and was very clean inside. All staff proved to be helpful and cordial. Big shout out to Clement who helped us with the purchase of an ES 350. Clement was knowledgeable, professional and very accommodating. He shared useful features about the car, connected my phone to it, and gave me an additional resource to review so that I can make the best use of it. He also reassured me that I could call at any time to discuss questions or concerns I might have later. Thank you for your outstanding service Clement! I was, overall, very comfortable and pleased with the whole experience. The best part was being able to drive home a new car the same day! I will definitely refer friends and family to Lexus of Freeport. Thank you so much!

Brought in my brand new car which I purchased at this
Brought in my brand new car which I purchased at this dealership just 6 weeks prior, with a complaint of a buzzing noise coming from the left rear seat. I provided them with a video of the problem, and a detailed email on how to replicate it. Twice the service department was unable to replicate the noise, and therefore couldn’t help me. I test drove it with my salesman, and he heard the sound and acknowledged something wasn’t right, just the service department refused to keep the vehicle and drive it until the problem was replicated. In addition to this, they returned my car one time with curb rash on the tires. One of the loaner cars I was given was filthy, inside and out. The last person left it a mess, and the service department didn’t clean it before issuing the car to me. I have photos but I cannot attach them to this review. Lexus of Freeport is a high volume dealership that does not make its customers feel important. I’m outraged at the lack of caring. Lexus as a company has the highest ratings for its dealership experience. Lexus of Freeport does not meet this high standard. In fact, I’ve been treated better at dealerships from value brands. Outraged.

I recently purchased a Lexus RX 350 from Lexus of Freeport and it was a wonderful experience. You’re probably thinking purchasing a car at a car dealership a wonderful experience, what? Yes it was! It all had to do with the sales person. His name is, Clement Corriette. He was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, kind, not salessy (not sure that’s a real word but you know what I mean) at all. Definitely not pushy! Clement was with me throughout the entire process, no matter what came up. I would highly recommend asking for him if you ever are in need of a car, you won’t regret it.

The financing scam - the price for the car was fair.
The financing scam - the price for the car was fair. When I said I was paying cash, the price went up outrageously - by 7k! I asked "why so much? Are you getting a kickback from the bank?" Anwer: "oh no. It's just that we have reciprocal arrangements with them so we have to use financing whenever possible" What kind of Orwellian nonsense is that?!?! I went back and forth with the salesperson (who was very nice and communicative). Negotiating the shortest pre-pay penalty period as possible, eventually settling on 4 months, then down to 2 months once 4 months still didn't meet my bottom line of no more than 800 in finance charges. Once all was settled, I read in the loan application that the loan was payable with no penalty AT ANY TIME! Unbelievable - so the whole prepayment penalty rap was another lie! And the secret underlying goal is a markup of the interest rate which goes to the dealership, so they make their money on the long term backend, not just a one-time kickback. Let me be clear - I don't mind people making their money, and the way it was finally explained to me by a friend in the business is: The cars are discounted so much that the dealer is making very little money, so they build in a profit on the financing. Fine. You have to live - make your money. But do not fricking lie to my face. Moving on - I asked that the car be charged when I picked it up. .It wasn't. And finally - AFTER the deal was closed they sent me a carfax report showing that the car had been in an accident and been repaired. Not a peep about it before the deal was closed. JIV positive. Although it's more work to buy from a private seller, it's way less slimy. Unfortunately I couldn't find the car I was looking for privately.
