Beware, Bait and Switch took place.

Went to look at a truck in December 2022, they had taken off tires, running boards, and removed the good floor mats. THANKFULLY we had taken pictures of all the pictures on their site and they put everything back on or in. But we had to make a second trip (4 hours and 205 miles one way) to pick truck up. They Did NOT reimburse the cost of second trip. Financial guy RUSHED us through contract and after we got home we found multi charges that was not approved. Will NEVER do business with them again. I did file a complaint with attorney general.

Good experience I would recommend

Over the years I have purchased numerous vehicles and very few were good experiences. My recent purchase at truck word was an exception Jose was helpful and friendly he went out of his way to make this a good experience. By the way love the new truck.

Never going here again

Scheduled ahead to come in for a specific vehicle. Came in and first thing they said was they want us have a good experience and wants to get info on what we like and what we’re looking for and that they’ll be honest to make the transaction easy!! Nope that did not happen!! I understand that the part where the transaction might not happen that day because of what we owe on one of the vehicles we’re wanting to trade in, but after the manager came in with the sales rep and explained what we already know and told us to wait cus he had to take care of a sale and we’ll look into other options cus we might not be able to get what we came in for just to be told almost an hour and a half or 2 later that they don’t have anything in the lot for us was total xxxxxxxx!!! To be told they had almost 200 available vehicles in the lot n was told that is just wrong!! Be honest to potential buyers cus ur not only wasting ur time but ours as well!! Never going to this place again!!

Hunter is Terrible

Absolutely do not go here! I went here hoping to find a truck that worked. We came in and our lead salesman, Adam was incredible. He was so nice and honestly tried to get us what we wanted. The manager, Hunter, had brought his dogs in for the day, so it was hard to communicate with the barking. However, we understood that sometimes life happens. He seemed super stressed as he kept going to his office and vaping. That annoyed us as we had our two little daughters here. After trying the first truck, we requested a different one as it died, and would not start at first. It also was way out of alignment and kept pulling to the right. We tried another and it stunk terribly. It was pretty hard to focus on that when I could barely see out of the windshield with the huge cracks all the way through it. Still, we drove one that we finally ended up liking. But as Hunter, So condescending told me, I will not be affording their astronomical payment on it. That’s OK, I had several other dealerships to visit throughout the Day. And luckily they wanted my business and I was still able to get something I wanted. Not before I received a 20 minute lecture followed by the manager hunter using a profanity laced speech on how dumb I was. And how there is zero chance I knew what I was doing because he is in his position because he is so good at what he does. Also, he has sold over 30 personal vehicles on his own, so there is no chance I know what I’m doing. After I explained that the truck I had scheduled next and the one I had seen before this dealership is better than the first two he showed me. And that I don’t want to rule them out, but I want to try those other options, he excused himself from the table in a very disrespectful manner. I told him I will share this experience and he quickly Turned around to belittle me and be rude again. Adam was so kind and finally got my keys to my truck that they held hostage from me in the back. We finally were able to get the items we needed for our baby and lugged two car seats and two daughters to the back of the store since hunter no longer wanted to provide us service. I have purchased so many cars and have never had an experience quite like this. I will NEVER SHOP HERE!!! Terrible customer service from Hunter. Someone needs to check his ego.

DO NOT GO HERE

These guys are straight up crooks. I attempted multiple times to legally return the vehicle under Utah state code 41-3-401 as the financing was not arranged and secured by the dealership, and sat with hunter sowell and Cody rampart, who told me, “we can either finish this deal or we’re going to need the vehicle back, but we’re not doing the vehicle back thing.” Then when the deal did not go the way Hunter and Cody wanted it to, someone at Truckworld took it upon themselves to illegally forge my signatures one of them being the “vehicle application for Utah title.” And the other “reassignment of title” Documents to finance the vehicle through my bank without my knowledge, and I have a hand writing analysis from a court certified forensic hand writing specialist showing these signatures were forged. I also attempted to get the paperwork that I “allegedly” signed and they refused to provide the paperwork. Do not purchase anything from this dealership

I was lied to, do not recommend this place.

Typical dealership when they want to sell you something they are all happy and everything but as soon as you need something after the whole mood changes. I went in to the centerville Truck World Dealership to look at trucks, wasn’t even expecting to buy anything. I wasn’t greeted until i walked up to someone (which isn’t a big deal), then was shown a couple trucks and ended up with a Ford F150 XLT. The one i picked had a small crack in the windshield directly in front of the driver, when i addressed this issue i was told it’s very cheap and would be easier to fix it myself. Very unprofessional action for that but okay fine i can deal with that. The test drive with the truck seemed fine (i don’t know too much mechanically and I’m new to trucks). So we went through the process of getting it and this whole time he was nice and helpful. When the truck was ready to be mine i was shocked to see that they didn’t even wash the exterior of the vehicle. Upon further driving after a couple days i noticed a lot of rubbing and some noises from the engine. The response to those things were that it was the “cost of custom”. I replied with a question asking if everything was checked and went through inspection, they told me everything was good and it was in fact inspected. About a month goes by and I still hear a noise in my engine/wheels that has been scratching for a while, when i reached out to my salesman i was confronted and told that i test drive it so its my fault basically. So i used the warranty and took it to a shop. The 4x4 hub needed to be replaced so it got done and things seemed fine. After Another couple weeks that noise came back and every time i use 4x4 there is a huge clunking sound. Let alone when i switch back to 2 wheel drive the computer thinks it switched but it actually stays in 4x4. So clearly there was issues when it was sold to me. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Fun, Friendly, Fun...Finally!!

I've purchased vehicles from over a dozen dealerships over the years. These guys were classy, no pressure, responsive, and upfront. They responded quickly to texts, I found the jeep I was looking for, had a test drive, and had my approval within minutes. I was out the door with keys in hand within 30 minutes on the day I came to pick it up. Thanks, Will & Troy! I will be back for my next truck and I will be referring friends & family.

Beware

Bought a Mazda and it needed a $1,400 repair 30 minutes after driving it off the lot. Supposedly it was fine when they had it and no assistance was offered.

Transparent and Professional

Bought a 2018 4Runner from Truck World and was able to build it with their help exactly how I needed. Very impressed with their depth of knowledge and professionalism. Every number was disclosed to me before I signed and that's hard to find these days.
