Horrible experience! Drove 2 hours from tucson after being told the deal was good to go. Showed up and nothing was even close to what was discussed over the phone. Sold my current truck to have a bigger down payment and get the numbers where I need them. Made the deal over the phone. Drove up the next day for the second time. Show up and I get told that he made a mistake and my payment was going up again! 2 round trips from tucson to Phoenix and all I have to show is a fuel bill and time off work. Great job bell road toyota!

I was only informed of the final price of a 4Runner after signing the contract. The price increased from $61,000 to $96,000 due to add-ons I did not request. I returned the next morning hoping to remove those extras and adjust the price, but after waiting for over three hours, the manager, Eric Godina, told me nothing could be done that day and that they would follow up later. Before that, I spoke with the finance representative, Diego Franco, who was rude and dismissive. He essentially said that I had signed the contract and that it was my responsibility, showing little concern for my situation or customer service. I have purchased vehicles from Honda, BMW, and Toyota before, and I have never experienced this level of poor communication and lack of professionalism—especially from a Toyota dealership. I chose this dealer because they had a very specific vehicle I was looking for, and as a loyal Toyota customer, this experience was extremely disappointing. After emailing Eric to explain my concerns again, I was asked to return to the dealership the following Monday. They said they had a solution, which involved submitting paperwork to remove the unwanted add-ons. However, I was told it could take at least three months to process, and in the meantime, my monthly payment would remain around $1,600—even after removing approximately $18,000 worth of unnecessary items. I was told this is simply how Toyota Financial operates and that nothing could be done. To make matters worse, I later contacted the salesperson with a simple question about the original lug nuts that were removed when they installed wheel locks. I wanted to switch back, but I received no response. I then emailed the manager about it and still have not heard back. This was a basic request, yet no one has followed up. Overall, the lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service at this dealership has been extremely frustrating. I expected much better.

Went in to get possibly get a new vehicle. Gave the sales woman my income, my FICO, what I was willing to put down and what I was looking to pay. She came back with a number that was well above what I was looking for. I had to leave and told her that if she could look at the numbers get it down to what I was looking to pay I would come in the next day and buy it. (basically wanted payments less than $650) BTW I was not sold on one specific car just wanted options and solutions. She promised to call the next day. No call so I called to get an update. She stated her manager could get me into a car and asked if I could come in today at noon. Arrived today and started asking me all the same questions then came back with a number that was even higher than the first day. No manager no nothing just the same old stuff. I just stood up and walked out. Too bad because I was pretty much a guaranteed sale, would have been my 2nd vehicle with them and should have been an easy one since I wasn't tied to a specific vehicle or anything.

I am writing this to warn the community about the lack of integrity and professional standards at Bell Road Toyota. I arrived at 8:00 AM today as a cash buyer, ready to finalize a deal on a vehicle negotiated the night before with Daniel for approximately $30,600. Instead of a smooth transaction, I was met with a series of "bait and switch" tactics and disrespectful management. The issues I encountered: Broken Agreements: Daniel was nowhere to be found. A different salesperson, Jorge, quoted me a price over $1,000 higher than agreed, citing "accessory fees" that were never mentioned during negotiations. Hostile Management: I spoke with a sales manager named Izzy, who was incredibly dismissive and rude. He refused to honor the verbal agreement made by his team and actually told me, “No and thanks for my business,” before walking away from me mid-conversation. The Final Straw: After I called an Uber to leave, another staff member approached me and agreed to the original $30,600 price. I cancelled my Uber and went back in, only for them to renege a second time, insisting on $31,149. It is mind-boggling that this dealership chose to lose two guaranteed sales (my son is also currently car shopping) over a $549 difference and a refusal to stand by their word. If you value transparency, respect, and honesty, take your business elsewhere. I expected much more from a dealership of this reputation, but they proved they would rather quibble over small margins than honor a handshake and treat a customer with basic decency.

I recently purchased a 20/20 to Toyota Corolla from Bell Road Toyota in the overall experience was quite satisfactory but the best part of the day for me was dealing with my exceptional salesman Daniel Conway he was extremely personable and professional and I never felt pressured at all at any time during the entire car buying experience Daniel made me feel totally at ease and it was like hanging out with a dear friend Daniel really went out of his way to make sure that every step of the car buying process was to my satisfaction and answered all of my questions honestly and with integrity if I was to give an award for best salesman of the year I would give it to Daniel Conway if you have a chance to buy a car at Bell Road Toyota hopefully he will be your salesman he's the absolute best

Dana, congrats on your 2020 Toyota Corolla! It’s fantastic to hear Daniel made the process smooth and stress-free. Your high praise will be passed along. Thank you for choosing Bell Road Toyota and we hope to see you again. Safe travels!
Found a good price on a Tundra here and a neighboring Phoenix Toyota dealership. I ended up flying to Phoenix on a Sunday afternoon to view, test drive and purchase a vehicle. The salesman, Steve Kohl, told me to bring a "personal check" since I was going to pay in cash. I questioned this and he assured me it would be fine. I agreed to purchase the vehicle and was sent to the Finance Manager, Diego Franco, who ended up telling me that my personal check was not approved, and that he was going to have to draw up a fake finance contract if I wanted to take the vehicle that I night. I was 400 miles from home with no more flights that evening. Mr. Franco assured me that the check would be cashed two days later and the he would tear up the fake contract. Had I had the ability to get home that night, I would have walked. Totally uncomfortable with this transaction. I drove the vehicle home and reached out to both Steve Kohl and Diego Franco five times from Tuesday through Friday, and neither responded back to me. I also confirmed they were both working! I was finally able to talk with another manager who said they were having problems cashing checks, blah blah blah. Complete xx. I inquired to purchase a Vehicle Service Agreement (Warranty) and was called by a salesman in Finance Department who quoted to a price over 40% higher that was was proposed the night of the transaction. Still unable to register the vehicle in my state. Totally shady operation. DO NOT buy from this business. Also check with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and other Review sites. This was not an "isolated" incident.

I would give 0 stars if I could!! Avoid this dealership no matter what! My husband and I purchased a truck from them and we have had nothing but issues. It's been two months of back and forth over issues that should have been fixed before the truck was even listed for sale. The dealership admitted they should not have sold the car in the condition it was sold in. Their used car inspections are crap they do not check the cars for safety issues! We did not know it had major vibration issues in the steering wheel and could not be driven straight when driven at a higher rate of speed because they don't allow you to test drive on the freeway. Took it to multiple different places for different opinions on what was wrong and was told the tires had bad tread and the car was not aligned or balanced properly. When we asked the dealership for proof of alignment they refused to show us actual paperwork and gave us falsified notes saying the car was aligned. They also promised they would fix minor things when we made the deal to buy the car (huge dents on the back of the car and the dash plastic since it was foggy and you could not see the dash information) and then they magically disappeared from our due bill. Stating it was "cosmetic" so it wasn't their problem. Only after threatening the with a lawsuit did they finally agree to fix the issues. Terrible customer service from Diego specifically in their service department. Can't understand how someone with such a horrible attitude made it to the position he is in. Save yourself and avoid this shady dealership. There are plenty of good dealerships in Phoenix but this place is not one of them.

Thank you for sharing your review. This vehicle was a 2021 Toyota Tundra with over 108,000 miles, purchased as-is after being inspected by you and your companion prior to the sale. While the vehicle was sold as-is, our team went beyond the Due Bill by replacing all the tires and the speedometer lens at no cost to you. The inspection report was accurate, the alignment was completed, and freeway test drives are always absolutely available to our customers. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify and remain committed to transparency and fairness in every transaction. Thanks again, Karen Arias Customer Relations Manager karenarias@lithia.com
Bell Road Toyota tried to rob me of nearly $2,900. My RAV4’s radio rebooted after a battery change — a known Toyota issue with a free software fix. Instead of following the TSB, they told me the whole unit had to be replaced for $2,875. I proved them wrong by fixing it myself in their parking lot with a USB drive. Then I demanded — and got — a refund. They either didn’t bother to do their job or deliberately tried to scam me. Either way, it was blatant dishonesty. If you value your money, do not trust this service department.

Shopped online found the car I wanted made an appointment for the next day and came in. Salesman was nowhere to be found located the car myself and said I would like to purchase it. Myself and my cosigner agreed with the salesman on a price $21,757. The amount that was to be for my trade-in was not on the document so they printed new ones. That amount was also wrong by about $2000. They said they fixed it what they did was at about $3000 to the sales price, a $4500 warranty that they told me was mandatory with the finance company and that I could get it refunded after six months. And a $1500 wheel warranty that also could be refunded after six months. When I left there, I had no documents. The finance guy said that he would email them to me. Never did. Called left a message called again and again and 2 days later on Saturday after calling about 13 times they emailed the documents after I told them I would be there with my sign to warn others of their fraud. Realized the bait and switch called again sent an email and NO ONE has returned my calls or responded to my email. Formal complaints are being made to Arizona Attorney General‘s office, Arizona Department of transportation, and the consumer financial protection bureau.

Spoke with Joseph Finance He explained the warranty information. Provided me with the cancellation documentation and the warranty information. Also received my documents in paper form. States sales Manager Kevin is not in today and that the price discrepancies need to be talked about with him and the salesman. Manager Kevin from sales is to reach out to me tomorrow around 12 ish.
Sales manager didnt reach out. Someone else called and stated they were with customer support and said they’d reach out again. Didn’t provide a contact number or email Still waiting on response for an additional $6,000 price discrepancy
Still no response from anyone in sales. Left message for Joseph, no return call. No one from corporate has called or emailed
Received phone call from Matt not Kevin. Stated they can refund $6k, which is the warranty and tire and wheel-which I was told already that I could do. Then he proceeds to tell me they will mail a check to the bank when I asked about the price bait and switch or the trade in value not matching he said he wasn’t changing anything. I asked to speak with bell road Toyotas gym. Matt said his name is Raffi and he doesn’t know when he’ll give me a call No results. He offered me what I already have the power to do. Did not address the price changes at all. Will continue uto post about their poor service and fraudulent bait and switch Letter sent to ag office as well
Still have not heard from gm.
A week has gone by no gm made contact. I did receive a phone call Friday from a sales manager who offered my the same deal, $6000 in warranty refunded to bank and another $1800+/- but I’m not sure where that is coming from I asked for it in writing and email was sent to me stating I agreed to the terms when I did no such thing however I have questions so I have replied with my questions and also mentioned the gm has not made contact as requested. Will up date as information becomes available Attorney general has made contact with dealership as well
I have spoken with the GM Rafeh. He was patient and wanted to make the situation right. We have agreed on refunding the $6000 in warranties and an additional $3000 to address the purchase price and trade in value. I had a family emergency and asked for the $3000 in a check as well and GM Rafeh agreed with no debate or questions. He addressed me respectfully and calmly. He stated he wanted me as a customer for life. He made it right. I appreciate his cooperation in handling this matter.
