Great people at James Chevrolet in Johnstown andNY

Chad king was awesome, very helpful , no pressure at all. Would definitely recommend him as a salesmen also Toby Hayes was great also. Both very friendly and got us a great rate Chad explained all about the vehicle and everything on the paperwork

Don't be Fooled

Put a $2,500 down payment on a truck "in transit" based on a quote from the dealer (James Chevrolet, Johnstown, NY), as well as the pricing on their webpage. When the truck arrived, I was informed there would be a 10% surcharge on the original price and that the quote I received was electronically generated and wrong, as well as the price on the web page also being incorrect. Furthermore, the sales person stated that they add a 10% surcharge to all their vehicles and can't do anything about false electronic quotes or false webpage pricing. This person then indicated she would have no problem selling the truck the next day to someone else. Bottom line, I could never trust a dealer with this kind of business ethic. Not only has James Chevrolet lost a sure sale, but Chevy likely has as well.

I was very amazed how everything happened that was amazing.I am driving a brand new Eqinox2022 !Vicky is who I would recommend to go to .She was very polite, and confident about me going home with a new vehicle, but I was not sure of that.She did tell me not to be negative and for sure she was right.My credit score was not the best but that did not stop me from getting a brand 2022Equinox. .They all are great !Thank you !!!

Went from leasing to owning the same car

My wife and I leased a 2020 equinox in 2020 and it was a wonderful experience then and when we went back at the end of our lease we had another wonderful experience Chad King helped us and was a wonderful young man he went out of his way to make this transaction smooth and easy he answered all our questions and took great care of us James Chevrolet is a great place to buy or lease a vehicle

I do not recommend mechanic work or courtesy

BAD MECHANICS took my car in for a tire swap....they told me I needed a tie rod and front end alignment then said I needed a gas line....it was already done at another garage as well as brake work.....also told me they had trouble getting a gas line for this car.....96 Buick Regal......HARDLY......I was given a quote of roughly $300_$400.....my bill was $858.55 and this was a so called discount from $1900.....really?.......now here is my biggest complaint......this work was done mid October I went to another garage for an inspection in February and to my surprise he told me I needed a front end alignment....I said I just had it done and showed him the paperwork....he said well it wasn't a very good job....I have Never in my life gotten a front end alignment then had to redo it 3_4 moths later.....I contacted them to see if they would make it right....give me a few days I will get back to you.........never heard anything.... Mavis gave me a new front end alignment....... Steve Manzer
