My experience with Sun Toyota was the most stressful car-buying experience I’ve ever had, and I will not be returning. I came in for an oil change and was quickly pushed into trading my 2018 4Runner for a 2022. The process felt rushed from the start, and the numbers presented during the deal changed by the time I signed. Features were implied to be included when they weren’t, and I was not given a clear breakdown of the deal before signing. The finance manager, Zach, was extremely difficult to work with—unresponsive, dismissive, and nearly impossible to reach. I was rushed through signing paperwork by a trainee with no explanation and left the dealership without copies of anything I signed. I was told I could return the next day to exchange the vehicle if I wasn’t happy—this turned out to be untrue. When I went back, they refused and instead suggested trading it in at a $10,000 loss just two days later. Within two weeks, I discovered issues with the tires and was later told the vehicle may need struts replaced—only to receive conflicting information from their own service team. The only positive part of this experience was Danny in service, who tried to make things right. It has now been over a month of calls and visits just to get answers and confirmation that my warranties were canceled. Overall, I felt misled, pressured, and taken advantage of. I strongly recommend being extremely cautious here—review every number carefully and do not let them rush you. If possible, go elsewhere.

We may not have got the best deal possible, but we were happy with the price we did receive. The sales department and the finance department were very easy to talk to, and I did not feel like a high-pressure sales to make the deal.

I traded in my 2023 SR5 Tundra and initially left with a 2026 1794 edition. Unfortunately, the vehicle broke down twice, and I had to bring it back to the dealership the same day. Jason, my sales representative, stepped in right away and made the situation right. He helped me get into a 2026 Limited that had everything I was looking for at a great price. Jason went above and beyond throughout the entire process—he even stayed until 9:30 PM to make sure everything was handled properly. I truly appreciate his professionalism, effort, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you again, Jason, for turning a frustrating situation into a positive experience.

Lee is the best ever! He was great at making sure I had plenty of options to look at, he never once asked me to come inside, or tried to talking me into buying anything. We spoke over the phone and through text about many vehicles over a week or two before I went to the dealership to look at some with him.
