Buyer beware — sharing my experience as a Lincoln Aviator owner so others can make an informed decision. I purchased my Aviator expecting premium durability and long-term reliability. Instead, despite maintaining a documented service history since roughly 30,000 miles, I’ve experienced repeated suspension and major component issues, including replacing catalytic converters and suspension-related repairs around 50,000 miles. When I raised concerns, the explanation I received was that the vehicle essentially has “nine years of mileage in three years,” and that these failures are considered normal wear and tear. I was also told that New York’s challenging road conditions contribute to the problems. While I understand roads vary, this is something never mentioned during the sales or test-drive process — and it raises serious questions about durability expectations for a luxury vehicle. From my perspective, it feels like every explanation shifts responsibility back to the owner rather than addressing whether a premium vehicle should reasonably withstand everyday driving conditions in this region. I’m not posting this to attack anyone — I’m sharing my documented ownership experience so potential buyers can ask the right questions about long-term reliability, warranty coverage, and how major repairs are handled. For a vehicle positioned as luxury, my expectations were higher. Others may have different experiences, but transparency matters when making a major purchase decision.

Such a terrible experience with Lincoln White Plains for the last 3 years... My Aviator has had a cascade of technical issues and safety recalls...The responsiveness has been far from great, e.g no navigation system for 6 months!! I am now trying to finalize the lease buyout for more than 3 months and their sales team has been totally unhelpful all along the way...and now want to charge me more because I am out of the lease period!! Really unprofessional behaviors for a brand which claim to be luxury. I can only discourage everyone from buying the brand and from this dealership. This had obviously all started well and the team was chasing me everyday to close the deal... SO DISAPPOINTED.
