Great Service

I stopped in the Lancaster Mazda service department on 22 Oct 18. I had an issue with my console lights not working which I felt uncomfortable driving my car with issue. I asked Tod if he could let me know if I needed a fuse replaced or needed to leave my car. He was so nice and said he would come right out and see if he could easily fix it. I recently had my car battery replaced. He was able to see that my car settings went back to auto settings when battery was replaced. He changed the lighting settings to Day which fixed the issue. He then said my stickers were blocking the light sensor. He then asked if he could remove my out of date stickers. He spent another 10 minutes removing stickers. I was so happy to see someone being so helpful at a dealership. I was not charged for his time. I wish all car issues could be resolved like this! I'll definitely keep going back to Lancaster, Mazda dealership for my repairs. I've been lucky not to have any issues with my 2018 Mazda CX-9 but if I do I know where to go.

Terrible Experience

The dealership has a lot to learn when it comes to customer service. They should try to determine the cause of the problem first, rather than blame the customer from the start.

Terrible Service Department

The service departments/ customer service skills are poor. When I repoted an issue with my new CX-9 ~ 5k miles, I was accused of causing the reported problem. They gave me no statisfaction until I spoke with the General Manager. Even then, they were reluctant. According to them, NO Mazdas leave their facility with a known defect.

Terrible Service

The service department is poor and did not look at all of the reported issues. In fact, they accused me of causing some of the reported issues. They were rude and unkind over the telephone. While the dealership and "deals" may be good, the service dept. overall needs a lot to be desired.

Thank you for your comments. We consult with the manufacturer on any issue in question with a Mazda. Items to be repaired are deemed to be a manufacturer defect and covered by warranty or caused by an outside influence which creates the issue. No manufacturer warranty covers wear and tear items or items damaged due to use. We are only the messenger when we report the manufacturer's findings. We service over 160 vehicles every day and it is unfortunate when we receive a negative review because we had to tell the customer something they did not want or like to hear. My Staff is trained to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to every customer, every day. They must answer to me. I provide my email and cell phone number to every Sales and Service customer, every day. Neither of these guests called me or emailed me for assistance. There are many times when I as the General Manger can intervene on behalf of our valuable customers, with the manufacturer, but I need the opportunity to try. Rick Price GM

Liked It Immediately

I liked the car when I first stepped into it. Driving it sealed the deal. My sales rep was very thorough and thoughtful in her presentation of the car, never offering too much information nor too little. This was my first experience with Mazda. Now I'm a fan.

We purchased a 2018 Mazda CX5 from Lancaster Mazda. Brandon Osgood was our salesman and he was extremely helpful. We got the Grand Touring model in the blue color. We only have about 1,000 miles on it, but it has been perfect and very enjoyable to drive. We test drove several other similar vehicles but this CX5 was the most enjoyable to drive. Brandon was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of time to test drive the SUV and showed us all the vehicle features. Everyone there made this a great buying experience and we will definitely go back to Lancaster Mazda and definitely recommend Brian Osgood !

Satisfied Customer

Excellent service and plenty of cars to choose from. Brandon Osgood communicated clearly during the process and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I love my Mazda3 hatchback and was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was purchasing a vehicle after 10 years of not having one. Lancaster Mazda should be your go-to choice over the other Mazda dealers in the area. Brandon even explained all the bells and whistles of the car before I left the lot which made me feel much more comfortable driving it off the lot during heavy rain.

Excellent Experience at Lancaster Mazda

Happy car shopper

Nice buying experience from initial inquiry to negotiations to finalizing the purchase. Emily Shaub was very knowlegibile about about all the features on the Mazda CX-5.
