I was shopping for my first Jeep and visited several dealerships before Meadowland of Carmel was recommended to me. Since it wasn’t local, I didn’t check it out right away—but as I neared the end of my search, I reached out, and I’m so glad I did! The customer service I received was outstanding—far better than anywhere else. We handled everything through email and phone, and within a week, I was picking up my new Jeep. The entire team—Ken (General Manager), Aaron (Salesperson), and Tim (Finance Manager)—made the process seamless. Every question was answered, and I had zero concerns walking into the dealership. I expected to spend three to four hours there, like at every other dealership I’ve visited, but I was in and out in just 20 minutes. Truly impressive! I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a Jeep. It was absolutely worth the drive and my time. Thank you to Ken, Aaron, Tim, and everyone at Meadowland of Carmel for making this one of the easiest, smoothest, and most enjoyable car-buying experiences I’ve ever had!

I had a great experience at Meadowland Of Carmel. The staff was friendly and professional. Julian was fantastic. The process was smooth and stress-free, and I never felt pressured. ⚠️ PSA for anyone shopping used Jeep Wranglers (especially 2012-2018 JKs with the 6-speed manual) ⚠️ After 6+ months of hunting I finally found what looked like the unicorn: • 2017 JK Rubicon • 6-speed • < 32 k miles • one-owner, spotless CarFax. I drove 200+ miles to a NY dealership, test-drove it, and drove it home thinking I’d scored big. The reality, one week later: 🔧 My trusted local Jeep dealer + a top-notch transmission shop both confirmed the same hidden issue— Reverse gear pops out under load = NSG370 manual transmission needs replacement Cost of a reman unit + install? $5,000+ (and the part is often on back-order). FYI: this “reverse pop-out / synchro failure” is a known weak spot on 6-speed JKs and can show up well under 50 k miles. I fully expected 8-year-old wear items—ball joints, axle U-joints, etc.—and I’m fine upgrading those. But a stealth transmission failure on a 32 k-mile Rubicon? That’s not routine maintenance. 👉 Take-aways for fellow Jeep shoppers Always get a pre-purchase inspection by a shop you trust—even if the dealer is 200 miles away. If you’re buying a 2012-2018 6-speed JK, ask about reverse gear engagement and listen/feel for it popping out on a test drive. Budget or negotiate for a reman transmission if there’s any doubt (Powertrain, Jasper, etc.). “CPO” or “great CarFax” does NOT guarantee the driveline hasn’t been abused or band-aided. Not naming-and-shaming (yet), but I will say this dealership either missed the problem on trade-in…or sold it anyway. Buyer beware, friends—get it inspected before you sign. Feel free to share so the next Rubicon dreamer doesn’t learn the hard way like I did. #JeepJK #Rubicon #NSG370 #UsedCarLesson

As we discussed with you, we are willing to address the issue for you. We believe it is a covered repair, but we would need to look at the vehicle here at the dealership in order to fix it. As per our previous phone conversation, we are willing to stand behind the product. In order to verify the failure and make the repair, the vehicle needs to be looked at here at our location. I realize that isn't convenient, and we apologize, but that is how we would be able to address the issue.

Thanks for following up. Here’s where things stand: 1. Current status – The Wrangler is already at an ASE-certified transmission specialist who has ordered the reman NSG370 in stock and can complete the repair for $5,050 (parts, labor, fluids, tax) within the next two weeks. 2. Alternative – My local Jeep dealer quoted $11,000 for a brand-new transmission that’s on back-order 45+ days. Given the cost and delay, that route isn’t realistic. 3. Prior stewardship – Meadowland sold the Jeep new, handled nearly all of its service for eight years, bought it back, and resold it to me. The reverse-gear failure clearly predates my ownership. Path forward To honor the “mechanical peace of mind” you promised, please choose one of these options by [five business days from today]: • Direct pay: Email written authorization so the shop can bill Meadowland of Carmel directly upon completion. • Reimbursement: Confirm in writing that Meadowland will reimburse the full, documented cost within five business days of receiving the paid invoice. Either option gets the Jeep back on the road quickly and avoids the logistics and risk of towing an undriveable vehicle 200 + miles.

I gave this a 1 star review due to the great customer service given by Tuck! If I could give this dealership a 0 star, I would. I found a truck here on the lot that I'm in need of due to a rollover accident which totaled out my last truck. Anyways, I made the arrangements to fly from Michigan to New York and drive this truck home. When starting the finance process, I was refused the sale by the manager Vinny due to having a GM Discount which then used the excuse this car doesn't qualify (2025 GMC Yukon XL). After looking into it, this specific truck does qualify and they do accept this specific discount. After the many excuse of "why they can't"... this shows the reputation they care, the lack of the importance of clientele, they just want your money and discriminating. I would HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere.. Because what's next? The refusal to fix your vehicle right when it has a black and white warranty... Good job!

Hello Sabrina, First off, I apologize that you are dissapointed. There was a missunderstanding here and we take full responsibility for not explaing the situation better. I' just wanted to explain properly what happened. From a General Motors positioin, this vehicle DOES qualify for GM prefered pricing. However, at a dealership level, we have decided not to participate in the special pricing on hard to get models that are in high demand and low supply. We invested a lot of cost into this vehicle and it will be very difficult to replace. We want the opportunity to sell it to a customer for it's fair market value. At the end of the day we are a family owned business and we are allowed to or not to participate in special buying programs. So, if you dissagree with our decision, I understand and respect your opinion, but that is what we have decided to do. So again, I sincerly apologize we weren't able to help you. My porches the 2018 Toyota Sienna Tom use car representative was very nice and informative I didn’t feel any pressure I drove 2hr from Long Island to that location and I don’t regret first time I did look at the car no surprises I did like the car and we did the paper work with finance department the was also nice he was a were kind and we went week after the day we wants car was ready front of the showroom I will thanks again for the service this days you won’t see any dealerships like this

I bought two cars from Mike Barrows. Mike's salesmanship goes unmatched. He did not pressure us at any point and was always willing to do his best on a price for us. The transaction was quick, easy and smooth. Just to top it all off Mike donates $50 dollars for every car he sells to united for the troops and having two grandparents that served this really blew me away. Thanks Big Mike!

Great experience and service!! Prior to pickup everything was explained and verified in order to have a seamless delivery experience. Sharon was great at going over everything and Mike took it home with no hiccups. Definitely great customer service and experience!! Would recommend and buy another vehicle!

I just purchased up a late model Pacifica. The transaction was professionally handled. There were no surprises. A hat tip to our salesman Julian and Ken in service, both customer focused. I particularly appreciate their followup communications. It does make a difference where and with whom you choose to do business.
