Highly recommend Faulkner Cadillac Mechanicsburg

I recently purchased a 2013 Yukon Denali XL from Faulkner Cadillac and traded in my 2011 Yukon Denali XL in the deal I am from out of State and saw the vehicle online so called and spoke with Andrew Sterling. I had many, many questions for him about the vehicle I was considering buying and I think I spoke with Andrew about 5 times on the phone. He was exceptionally patient and you could tell he was sincere, genuine and honest. He told me the 2013 was in show room condition so I made the 120 mile trek to Mechanicsburg to purchase the care sight unseen based solely on his word. I wish I had something negative to say about the 2013 Yukon but honestly this SUV is like it just rolled out of the showroom floor, it has 43k miles and I mean it runs like brand new, not one nick on this car. I could not have been more delighted and pleased and was so thankful that I ended up crossing paths with Faulkner and honesty. I was not easy on Andrew and really negotiated hard with him and he took my offer to management and although they did not give me what I asked for they were more than fair and met me in the middle and in the end it was really a fair price for a vehicle I will keep for many many years. We drove up from D.C. and Andrew had everything ready for us including a full tank of gas and he even had two extra key fobs made for the vehicle at my request at no charge. He made us feel at home and we were in and out of there very quickly. The thing that immediately stood out about Faulkner was NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS. When we met with the Finance director Allen Riddle he was incredible, very engaging and very low key, he did not pressure us to buy a warranty and he did not push us, I will end up buying the extended warranty because honestly it was a very fair price. From beginning to end they were first class. I have purchased many cars in my time and sniff out b.s and dishonesty pretty swiftly, these guys were truly just first class character and I can't say enough good things. Lastly the General Manager who clearly is living right he looked about 25 years old but he informed me his looks are deceiving, was very gracious and very sharp. He runs a top notch Faulkner location and as soon as you walk through the door you just can sense that he fosters the kind of culture that customers respond too. Our next car by happenstance will be a new Cadillac to replace my wifes car and without hesitation I plan to drive the 120 miles to Faulkner Cadillac. I would recommend Faulkner Cadillac in Mechanicsburg to anyone. Off to enjoy my 'new car'

Do not buy a used car from Faulkner!

Do not buy a used car from them. They must have the worst mechanics in the world checking these vehicles out, you have been warned.

Came for a repair ended up buying a new car

My 12 year-old car was making an unusual whistling noise when people were seated in the back which I suspected was emanating from the rear differential. It was time to move on. The salesman was very low key and made the purchasing process easy.

Very timely and cordial in their communications

Very timely and friendly communications via email, which was necessary since I am located in another state and not close to the dealer. I did not end up getting out to the dealer to purchase the vehicle. but they were good in their interactions via email. They followed-up without being asked. Based on the other reviews here, I can see they should be pleasant to deal with.

Buying

While the staff and sales experience were fine I do believe that a little modification is needed to the sales pitch for other products. It came to the point that I became a little annoyed with the stories and I just wanted to get out of your sales room and drive away in my new car.

Brand new facility, very friendly staff.

We have purchased vehicles from Faulkner Cadillac in Mechanicsburg, PA before and will continue to do so. Rick Fasick does an excellent job doing whatever he can to satisfy the consumer, before and after the sale. Everyone at this dealership is very friendly.
