I went to Porsche Tysons Corner to order a Macan S. I worked with Matt St. Croix, who was very knowledgeable about the car and answered all my questions. When it was time to finalize the order there was an additional $1,985 fee added on for “Interior and Exterior Protect- Premier.” I asked that this fee be removed as I did not want the additional protective coating and accompanying “warranty” for the exterior/interior finishes. I was told that they would not remove the additional $1,985. I left and went to another Porsche dealer who placed the order for me without insisting on any additional markup. I felt that Porsche Tysons Corner tried to take advantage of me as a female car buyer. I can understand marking up a car if it is rare or hard to find an allocation, but that is not the case for the Macan. Do your due diligence before purchasing a car from Porsche Tysons Corner. Due to the way I was treated, I would not recommend this dealer to other car shoppers, especially females.

Overview: Panamera turbo ST got oil leak issue, replaced oil filter housing gasket under warranty, tech did not put wires back to original places and one wire moved to a place closer/touching one of the turbo Details: 1. Found oil residue on my garage ground/ took it to porsche Tyson’s corner, initially service advisor A told me tech states the leak is due to improper oil change (oil filter cap did not install back properly ) and sent me a video, quoted me $500+ initially to do oil change and after I mentioned i bought parts from porsche before, she told me will apply ten percent coupon and make it $300+ (i have no idea why the ten percent works to half the price) 2. They want me authorize $300+ to clean the area around the filter and do test drive, I authorized the cleaning and test drive, second day things changed to cover under warranty ( i was expecting porsche to do a better job detecting the root cause of the issue, but i kind of understand tech needs the full pay) 3. Second day after the warranty work finished, i opened the engine cover (i was planning to do a long distance travel so i want to make sure no more leaks) and realized things are different, just like the pics attached shown (unable to attach the pics here, attached in the google review) , two wires on top not installed back to its original places and one wire is now touching the hot turbo, i sent pictures to service advisor, advisor forward to tech, then asked me to bring the car back to tysons corner 4. I scheduled a time the day after that and Took the car back to porsche Tyson’s, another service advisor B helped me, i think they do not have all the records in system, info not fully shared between advisors or the service advisor B just not having time to check the history, i have to explain things from the beginning again 5. One day later tech put the wire back to its original locations, service advisor B told me he used to work on cars and the clipper location should be more like choice based on opinion (i prefer the tech confirm it, if it really is just based on opinion, why the tech ask me to bring the car back, also my understanding of basic physics is that things should move away from the hot turbo, not much closer or touching it) 6. I had to push hard to make the advisor B write the sentence like “tech did not install wires back to its original places during last warranty repair(oil filter housing gasket)” and service advisor B asked me how do i know it was at its “original “ places before the repair ( i had to show him the video tech sent me before the repair again and that is exactly why i have to have the exact situation write in my car’s service record), later advisor B told me the system does not allow him to edit the notes anymore, later advisor A came and said she able to edit and confirmed the notes with me before save to the system Summary Based on my experience this time, i rated my experience 2 stars, because 1. the tech’s work did not meet my expectations of “Porsche Quality” (i can only see the difference above the surface and they are not in its original locations) 2.
