I drove 4 hours round trip yesterday to look at a Jeep and worked directly with Sales Manager Gary, GM Niko, and Anthony. We spent over an hour going back and forth and ultimately agreed on a price. I was approved through financing, but they only had one finance person working on a Saturday, so we couldn’t complete the paperwork that day. Anthony and Gary both told me they would call me later so we could finalize everything over the phone and sign documents at delivery. I specifically asked whether I needed to leave a deposit, and Gary told me that would not be necessary. Anthony even said he had the keys and had already moved the Jeep to the “sold” lot in the back. I never received a call. When I followed up the next morning, I was told the three people I had worked with were off, and the manager on duty, David, informed me they had sold the Jeep to someone else later that night. His only response was “our bad” and that this “happens a lot.” That is extremely disappointing after driving 4 hours and being told the vehicle was secured. If Lindsey Automotive does not have adequate finance staffing on busy days, that should not become the customer’s problem—especially after a price agreement and financing approval. If you are not local and can’t sit in their waiting room for hours, be cautious. Based on my experience, verbal commitments and assurances that a vehicle is “sold” may not actually mean it’s being held for you. Customer service did not feel like a priority here.

Jason- Thank you for taking the time to share yoru 5 star review about Mohammed! We are pleased that he made your recent visit a positive one and we hope to work with you again in the near future!
Horrible dealership. I had been in for a test drive on a used vehicle and they promised me they would fix damage on the bumper. When I was in final negotiations, the salesman and sales manager ghosted me We spoke to the general manager Amin and he told us not only would they not honor what the sales manager promised about the bumper, but that they raised the price of the vehicle. Also, do some research on the web. They are involved in multiple lawsuits that they defraud their customers.

I had been searching high and low for the perfect Palisade—right color, right features, everything. When I finally found one online, I left a message, hoping it would still be available. The next morning, I got a call from Said Hashemi, and right away, he made the process feel effortless. He had already pulled the car out for me and even recorded a full video tour, walking me through every detail like he was right there with me. Since I live two hours away, he promised to be my eyes and ears, making sure everything was right. That level of care really stood out, and honestly, the car looked even better than I expected. That day was crazy busy for me, but Said was on top of everything—answering my questions, checking on my concerns, and keeping me updated. The second I wrapped up a client, he had my answers ready, which made the back-and-forth super easy. By midday, I knew this was the car for me, and even though I was crunched for time, he told me to come pick it up and assured me we'd get everything handled quickly. When I arrived, I took the car for a drive, and wow—it was even better on the road than it looked in the video. But I only had three hours before I had to be back in Baltimore, and time was tight. This is where Said and Mohammad in finance really stepped up. My main concern was my monthly payment, and Mohammad worked with me until we found something that made sense for my budget. And then—something I’ve never experienced at a dealership—Mohammad promised to have me out in 30 minutes, and guess what? He did it! In less than an hour, I was on my way home with my dream car, no stress, no hassle. The whole process was smooth, quick, and honestly enjoyable. I can’t say enough good things about Said—he went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed, and because of that, I’ll be coming back to work with him for my next car. Thank Guys!

Michael- Congratulations on your new dream vehicle! We are thrilled our team exceeded your expectations and got you on the road in a timely manner! It is exciting to read of your enjoyable buying experience and we thank you for choosing Lindsay CDJR for your recent purchase. Wishing you many happy miles of fun and safe travels and please reach out whenever we can be of assistance.
I am also writing a note of appreciation for our car-buying experience. My wife and I found the Jeep we wanted in a dealership over four hours away from our local dealership here in Manassas. Cesar and his team contacted the distant dealership and actually boarded a train to go pick up the vehicle and drive it back four hours to our home! Incredible display of customer service. Would highly recommend Lindsay CDJR for anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Well done, Lindsay!

Scott- Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is for every customer to have a positive experience, please contact Angie. Her email is angie.bey@lindsaycars.com so we can work to resolve your concerns.
I read the negative reviews here and thought eh, if the car is new enough it's worth a risk but like the others said, don't waste your time. Stereotypical high pressure salesmen, we had a deal then the car got sold and they just asked if I'd be interested in another call. I don't get how these folks have so many 5 star reviews, but that was not at all my experience. Too many games, which actually it worked out b/c my gut said something didn't feel right about this place and turns out I was right.

My wife suggested I write a review as a token of appreciation. Due to Father time, I don’t change my own oil and had a bad time with 2 local shops so I made the drive to Lindsay for oil change. A guy I think named Chris checked me in. Very nice and explained the process perfectly so I was comfortable. Then I get a call from an upgrade department saying they saw my truck in th garage and want to buy it as trade in since they saw how well it was kept. Was skeptical but said what the heck make an offer. Upgrade Guy found me in waiting area and was transparent and not pushy. I asked why they want to buy a truck with high milage. He said they are expanding their used car inventory + do business w/ highway repair+contractors from out of state. They come here for a temp job and will need a truck but dont want to buy new-expensive one when they wont need it once job is done. Lindsay sells them older high mileage truck and mine was perfect for this+ I would get a great deal on a new one. Made sense to me. The service worker was great making me comfortable but then I hit it off with upgrade guy even if I wasn't 100% on buying new truck. Told him I was not from the area but we had that in common. Talked about Manassas and I’m a history buff so I appreciate he suggested visiting Manassas battlefield museum. We Talked history, the civil war and cars+ family and I almost forgot why I was there in the first place.I felt like I was in the American Legion hall just chatting with friends and not in a dealership. I said ok lets see this new truck. I wanted to work with the guy and at least give him a chance even if I wasn’t sure about buying a new truck yet. He came back with a salesman forget his name but will edit review when I check papers in file cabinet. He was polite and charismatic again not pushy, not your typical salesman tone so it felt like I was buying from a friend. He handled the test drive+questions with honestly so it felt like he was working for me to get a truck I loved+afford. At this point I had 3 encounters with 3 employees who were all professionals+made me comfortable so I was in a good mood+laughing that I ended up buying the new RAM but based off the circumstances they described I actually felt like it was in my best interest to take advantage of this upgrade program. My wife said I thought you were only getting oil change? I said yes the oil changed+transmission+engine+wheels and body changed ha. Finance portion was tad nerve-racking but we got through it. The sales guy was amazing at his job can’t say enough good things about him.A+ EDIT+UPDATE: Made this weeks ago but last week the upgrade guy called me to check in+see how I like the truck+reminder to come back for oil change. He Asked about family+grandkids I mentioned in passing so I appreciated that he remembered everything+names and future plans. That’s why I’m writing a review because I have to say this call stuck with me+made me feel like I was more than just a number to them.Deal was done they got paid.I already agreed to come back for oil change so the call had no ulterior motive which is rare in sales. This simple phone call is why when my granddaughter got her license+needed a car,I made sure my son-in-law went to Lindsay. He got her a Jeep Compass and love it. My grandson is due for a car once he passes road test next month. We will go to Lindsay. My wife has a Subaru with a lease up in 4 months and we will be back at Lindsay for a GrandCheroke. To local businesses in the area!!! This is how you get 3 generations of loyal customers who will buy from you+come back for maintenance . All 3 employees spoke to me with respect and interest beyond my wallet with charisma. Getting that random phone call to see how I was doing leading to a a genuine conversation was not something you expect from a dealership so I applaud Lindsay for being different. Also I LOVE MY RAM, grand-daughter loves her Compass and grandson will love his charger and wife will love her Jeep!
