Still receiving crap from these people SIX YEARS LATER ! I don't own a Dodge or a Chrysler and wish I had never visited this place. I'm hoping after over two years of not owning a Chrysler product and asking repeatedly to PLEASE be removed from their email list that some one star reviews might get someone's attention and actually get off of their service reminder and sales solicitation list. I have emailed, replied, called etc. I wish I had never ever walked in this place.

San Marcos Chrysler Dodge-Jeep recently gave me the worst service experience in my 38 years of car ownership. This was especially disappointing after previously positive interactions with this dealer. I own a 2020 Longhorn Edition RAM with 29K miles. I made a service appointment to deal with three issues: 1. the formerly beautiful dashboard leather has warped and lifted, despite the car being garaged day and night. 2. the check engine light came on 2½ weeks ago 3. three days later, the car wouldn’t start (I was able to jump it). I scheduled service via the RAM app, detailing all the issues in the appointment notes. On the morning of the appointment, the car wouldn’t start—even with a jump. I called the dealer, explained I’d be late, and asked if they could help get the car to them. I was told my service advisor would call back—but he never did. I used AAA to get the car to the dealer. I arrived mid-morning. I was greeted and told my service advisor would be with me momentarily. After fifteen minutes (I was sitting out front in the still-running car, which I didn’t want to turn off because I was unsure if it would restart), I checked inside to see if I had been forgotten. I was told no, but then five minutes later the greeter re-emerged and apologized, saying he was told I was already with my advisor. (Huh?) He took my info (I guess nobody read the appointment notes) and informed me it would be 72 hours before a technician could look at my ca. This despite my advance appointment and prior call. He claimed this was “standard” for non-routine maintenance appointments. The greeter (who was polite and clearly well-intentioned throughout) apologized for the “misunderstanding” and offered me a shuttle home. After one hour of no shuttle and multiple references to "looking for the driver", I called an Uber and left. I’m frustrated by the RAM’s issues—especially the dashboard, given the vehicle’s price and short life. But the lack of follow-through on anything and the loss of time is infuriating. Here’s hoping the repairs are handled properly.

I bought my 2025 Jeep Cherokee Limited in Sept. Our sale guy was Armando Sanchez. He told us about all the warranties on our vehicle. Well I had one of my front left fascia mud flap fall off, so I contacted Armando to ask if there is any way if it was covered through warranty. He told me he was going look into it and get back to me. I let days go by and still did not hear nothing from him, so I text him again and no response still till this day. I told my husband maybe he can give it a try. My husband contacted him and he told my husband that he was looking into it with the part department. Nothing still!!! We had went by that same day that my husband called him and found out from another employee that he didn't work that day. He basically Lied to us again. I love my vehicle, but I hate to be lied too. Armando pretty much ghosted us! My husband trying calling him again and no answer. If he doesn't know the answer or don't have a response why can't he just tell us, so we can move on to someone can help us!!!! Please don't trust him to help you out because all he has shown us is nothing, but lies, and making unprofessional promises!!!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and shortly after, the transmission failed. The vehicle was returned to the service department, and it has now been weeks without resolution. Each time I've called for an update, the completion date is pushed back. I've also been paying $35 per day for a rental vehicle during this time. Earlier this week, I was told the repair would be done Monday or Tuesday, then Wednesday for programming. When I called today, I was informed it now needs to be towed to a Chevy dealer for programming and may be ready tomorrow. I had to repeatedly call for updates, and messages were not returned. Even after speaking with both Rolando and Thomas, communication continued to be inconsistent as I was advised I would receive a call back and nothing. I had to reach out to them. Thomas did advise that they would cover the rental charges, which I appreciate, but this situation should never have escalated to this point. The lack of communication, repeated delays, and poor follow-through have been extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I would rate this dealership an F for customer service and reliability. So YES AGAIN still waiting with no resolution date just hopes tomorrow.

( BEWARE )……Bought a mini cooper , only made 1 payment when it broke down . Paid to tow it to dealer to fix , which I do have a warranty . There service manage told me that there dearlership cannot fix it and there mechanic are not capable of the repair , so they wanted to charge me over 300 to tow to another dealer and I would have to pay another tow . Which doesn’t make sense . Shouldn’t it be the dealer fault that their mechanic are incapable of the repair .So now I’m out of my down payment of 3500.00 that I will loose . Cause I will not be making another single payment …don’t buy from these idiots !!!! The only reason it has a 1 star is because it doesn’t let you post no stars….
