My original salesman suddenly disappears and another salesman takes over. Finally go inside to talk numbers, and then he says "I have to talk to my boss" and disappears for like 40 minutes leaving me sitting and waiting. Shows up with manager Miguel who starts to bully and pressure me into putting more cash down and buying a bunch of additional stuff. The manager and salesman kept treating me like a dumb woman who needs to be taught how to buy a car. Don't buy here. Manager Miguel should be fired for treating people like he does.

Rene at Torrance car sale
On 02/13/19 Rene if I can give a zero I would. when a consumer goes in to check out the vehicle that doesn't meant they gonna to buy it. Even tho' we check it out online photos we wanted ro see clear view up in person. Photos cant tell it all if there's Scratches dent or ding So don't rush dont pressure the consumers its doesn't cost anything for you just to show the vehicle.

Terrible Service
The buying process itself wasn’t a big deal, mostly because I don’t even attempt to haggle prices I just wanted to get a car and get it over with and I paid in cash so a dealership would have to be going out of their way to be difficult for my buying process to be a pain. The dealership also doesn’t offer any kind of post-purchase services which was weird to me but I got past it cause I just wanted to get a car and get it over with. The issues mostly came after I bought the car which was barely a few weeks ago. 2 days after I bought it, the battery died. Which like sure batteries get used up on used cars but my god it was TWO days. I had to call out of work to fix an issue they caused and get a new battery. Yes I didn’t pay for it obviously they did but just to get them to pay for it I had to drive to the specific shop they work with which is an hour away so I couldn’t make it into work that day. Another, and my main issue right now, is that on the day I bought the car I was told that they were still looking for the spare key but that they’re sure they will find it and will contact me within a couple of days to get it. I naively believed that and said okay. Now it’s been a few weeks. I had to hunt them down to even get any updates and their update is that “they don’t have one”. What the xxxx?? I know for a fact that affects the value of a car, meaning I was blatantly scammed and lied to when I was told they were going to contact me and send it to me and that I had nothing to worry about. What’s worse, I park in an apartment building garage where the space is limited therefore one car has to box in the other for things to actually fit. My roommate and I carry each other’s spare keys so in case either of us has to leave the the other person’s car is blocking the way, we can easily and quickly move it so we don’t have to worry about being unable to get to work or anything like that. Due to the dealership’s inability to provide me with something SO basic, we have now both been late to work. It’s ridiculous that they’re unable to be honest and provide me with something that they claimed they would within a few days and now we have to pay the price. And the lack of care or any form of remorse or apology or attempt to rectify the situation on their end makes this so so much worse. And it’s keyless start so I don’t even have the option to just copy the key. This is also about how they strung me along while lying and refusing to provide me with any updates, then acted like this was my problem and they didn’t even attempt to fix the situation or placate me with anything at all. It’s terrible customer service and if you’re planning on financing or doing anything with the dealership that actually requires you going back to them I’d recommend you try another place because they have no concern for you at all. Also they are very clearly not above very blatantly and openly lying to your face.

Wow what an amazing car buying experience at Hertz Car Sales - Torrance with Tammy Watkins helping us buy 2 excellent condition and low mileage 2016 Toyota Camry's. Me and my family have been researching for the best car deals for months now and finally a place to buy cars without issues. We tried going the private seller route and even going to car dealerships around town, but it was a big waste of time since other dealers have high pressure sales and hidden charges such as dealership fees or accessory fees. Then we had the issue of private sellers not being upfront honest about their car's history or actual ownership of the car. Just to many obstacles getting a good deal with them private sellers and other dealerships. I finally heard about Hertz Car Sales through a youtube video of someone saying the pros and cons of buying through rental car companies and they mentioned Hertz Car Sales has the best deals you can find. We went to the Hertz Car Sales - Torrance website and found the cars we liked at a reasonable price below what other dealers and private parties are selling them for. Apparently Hertz sales their cars significantly cheaper than what Kelly Blue Book lists them as. The best thing I like about buying our cars here was that the prices are listed upfront and their is no haggling, no pressure, and no hidden fees. Plus the cars we bought come with a 12-month/12,000 Mile Limited Power Train Warranty. We went to Hertz Car Sales - Torrance 3 different days in order to purchase 2 cars from them. The first day we just drove onto the lot and started walking around looking at the cars and were greeted in a friendly manner by a Hertz Representative named by Tammy Watkins. She was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in and offered us to test drive the cars. We ended up test driving several cars that day and Tammy was very patient with us and did not pressure us at all. We told her we like the cars and would come back with a mechanic another day to test drive and inspect the cars. Then we came back on a 3rd day to finalize all the financial, DMV, and warranty paper work to purchase both cars. Overall I want to thank Tammy Watkins and the rest of the Hertz Car Sales - Torrance team that helped our family buy 2 cars in the same week. I had an amazing car buying experience and would definitely recommend others to check out their website or stop buy to browse big selection of cars on sale on their lot. Thank you so much Tammy. Great Customer Service
I'm in the process of buying with this Hertz location. Paul has been a great help and he's promptly answered all of my questions either via email, text, or phone call. The car I am looking at was not processed yet, when I first spotted it on their lot. I have been kept in the loop the entire time. I look forward to the next step and checking back to say I made the purchase!

Bad Appraisal
I was going to buy the vehicle that I liked at their place and wanted to trade in my car which has a market value of at least $4500, they appraised it for only $1000 !!! I was shocked when I heard that number.

Chris Brown helped my get into my Nissan Frontier 4 wheel drive pickup. He even followed me back so I could drop off my old vehicle. Hertz process is easy and no pressure. I highly recommend!

The Best Experience ever!!!
If I could give them 20 stars I would, I had been to about 4 or 5 dealerships looking for a Nissan Altima , and OMG I am so glad I came to Hertz Car Sales in Torrance they made me feel absolutely so comfortable , no pressure and my experience was absolutely painless. I would refer any and everyone here if they was an amazing car buying experience. I have to send a special thank you to Sondra Lane and Miguel Galindo .
