5 stars for Dorian and the Service Department. The team did amazing to keep me updated on the issues that they found with my truck which was beyond the skill of others to repair, and I'm grateful for the fact that they did the preventative maintenance that I asked and went above and beyond.

If you are a veteran in the market for a truck, Southwest Ford is the place to go if you want to be deceived, lied to, and ripped off! I received an email from them about their end-of-the-year truck sale! So I called and spoke to Kadin an set up an appointment to hopefully purchase a new truck. The day of the appointment I met with Kadin, and he showed me the truck that I said I was interested in. Turns out it had severe hail damage and was a courtesy truck. I immediately said no! I am looking for a brand new vehicle. I explained to him that I plan to trade my 2019 F-150 Platinum for a brand new F-150 Platinum. he then pointed out a few Platinum trucks. Kadin said that he would go in and get the keys. When he returned, we got in a platinum F-150 and he said are you ready to take it for a spin i said yes, and i drove it around the block, the whole time I was driving he was pointing out features of the truck. when I parked and turned off the vehicle, Kadin said are you ready to buy and I said it all depends if we can make a deal. We got back to his office, and I asked how many miles is on the truck that I was trying to buy, and his manager, Blake stepped in and told me 48 miles, and I said great lets see if we can make a deal. Kadin ask me for my keys and took my truck to have it appraised. When he returned, he offered me $20,000 for my truck and $1000 off the new truck. Of course, I said no, and we went back and forth. to the point that Blake came over and emphasized that i was getting a brand new truck! At no time did they disclose that this truck was a demo truck. After making a deal for what i believed a new truck, Blake returned with a iPad and said that now they do everything digitally and that the process would be quick, so I signed it was now 8 pm i had been there since 11 am. The finance guy called me in and I signed maybe five or six papers that he quickly put in front of me and he wanted me to buy an extended warranty but i said no then he said that he was giving me free oil changes for a year and had me sign a paper that he went over and on that paper the milage was written in at 48 miles he printed it and the folded some 15 documents put them in an envelope and handed them to me with my keys it was know 8:30 pm and i still had a 2 hour drive back home. The next day I opened the envelope and went over the documents, and that was when i discovered the truck had 4623 miles on it. I could not believe my eyes. So I contacted Kadin and informed him that i did not appreciate the deception and that they needed to make it right. The following day, Nick called and said he was the sales manager and to call him back. I explained everything that happened. he tried to tell me that it's a new truck. I explained that it would of made a big difference in the price and the factory warranty he tried to say that my truck was pro-rated, so that extra 4623 miles would not count against my factory warranty that was another lie. I told Nick that i wanted to be compensated by the dealer take off $2.00 for every mile that was on the vehicle at the time of the sale! and then take it off the amount financed. I then explained that it mattered because I wasn't the person who would break in the engine, and who knows how this truck was treated as a demo. All I have is their word, and we know that's not worth anything! Nick never contacted me after i told him what would make it right they say they are a family owned business and to trust them the minute you do they will deceive you! Mark C Hamby USN Ret.
