I have been leasing Subarus since the mid-1980's. Why? Because nothing ever goes wrong with them. I've only had one car that had a problem that couldn't be solved - a leaking roof, somewhere in the early 90's. And that was the only time. My experience with Rye Subaru has been only excellent. I've bought my last two cars (both CrossTreks, and the current one, a CrossTrek Hybrid) from Lauren Hirshowitz. She is a terrific person to work with - comprehensive, knowledgeable, and entirely reasonable. If I had the choice, I would work with no one else but her at Rye Subaru. Add in that the service department has been perfect - for many years. Courteous, on time, always competent. I've bought Subarus from two other dealers, both of whom were good, but not in the league of this one.

Had a very good experience with all of the Rye Subaru staff who I met with. All were very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. My wife has bought 4 cars from here and highly recommended it. When I went in the dealership, there were probably four sales people sitting at their desks, all of whom ignored me. Lauren, who had sold my wife two cars, immediately came out to greet me and inquire as to what I needed. She comes across, not as a sales person, but as someone who is truly trying to help. Upon my subsequent visits, she was again the only one who actually came out to greet me. I would recommend people go directly to her, and that the dealership implement some training for its other sales people.

I was incredibly impressed by the level of service my wife received from Lauren, and I fully intended to deal with her anyway. When I initially entered the dealership to see if she was in, there were 2-3 salespeople sitting at the desks along the left hand wall, and they completely ignored me when I came in. They did look up and went about their business. Lauren came right out, greeted me, and helped me to find what I was looking for.
