On my second dying vehicle to replace the first dying

On my second dying vehicle to replace the first dying vehicle they sold me. Lost work, a lot of income and sanity. Customer relations is a joke and not at all corporate they're useless and relate back to the location that already screwed up on EVERYTHING. Sell your beater here and buy somewhere else.

Traded my mint 2014 Civic SI for 2017 Mazda CX-5

I purchased this just about 30 days ago and went thru my 1rst car wash today 4/9/21 and the windshield leaked at the top inside the cabin on me , the steering wheel , and it was a drive thru car wash Normal . I have been on hold for over 2.5 hours now just trying to get an operator. As I have 90 days warranty but that does not help if I can not speak to anyone and its an hour drive 1 way . I keep finding things damaged in the car scratches, MUD on the inner side of the seat so no dice on a real detail from them .I am so livid right now . They Even tried to sell me the car I purchased w/ Navi but did not have it . So we call that a bait and switch . They did come down on the price to compensate after me having to make a scene !

Worst experience ever at a dealership

I went looking for a 2nd car. I called the Oxnard store first. I knew what I was looking for I have 5k down good credit. No problem buying a car. I get to Oxnard at car max . The car sales man is a absolute xxxxxxx. Only has 1 type of car I’m looking for when he said we have 5 like that . But tried like xxxx to sell me some crap car. When I told him you don’t have what you said you had . And he laughed. So I looked at him and laughed back and said I’ll take my 5k across the highway. I guess the jokes on you right . He wasn’t laughing now lol. So if your looking for a car don’t go to car max there a joke

Carmax

Carmax is a joke. No negotiation, they will tell you the car is in perfect condition but once you purchase the vehicle you will start to hear a lot of squeaks and noises because the temp oil they put in fades away. Carmax is a complete joke to purchase from, do not recommend these liars to anyone!!!!!!

Bad Experience at Carmax Oxnard

TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU DO NOT BE FOOLED BY FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS ABOUT CARMAX! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM CARMAX IN OXNARD!! I never leave reviews, either good or bad, but I just have to this time. I hate sleazy dishonest businesses defrauding the public! Here's A little background, my husband and I recently traded in our leased Audi and Purchased a 2016 BMW X5 at the Carmax in Oxnard. We were initially hesitant to do business with a large used car dealership such as Carmax that deals in high volume purchase and sales of used cars, knowing that quality control is almost always an issue with these places. But I had found the BMW online and it had low miles and looked to be in good condition, so we thought we would at least take a drive out and have a look at it since it is very near to the Audi dealership where my husband leased the Audi and we had to deal with turning in the Audi anyway. I made a "reservation" with a sales Consultant at Carmax in Oxnard by the name of Logan White who turned out to be a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man. After seeing and test driving the BMW we liked the car, as it was in good condition ( only a few small scratches ) and had low miles, only a little over 15,000 miles on a three year leased car. So we decided to purchase the car and just trade in the Audi at the same time. The trade in and purchase process was fine, they gave us a fair price for the Audi, and we secured our own financing for the purchase of the BMW through a credit union. The trouble began when after about two weeks we noticed oil leaking from underneath the BMW. As the car is still covered for the remainder of this year under the original manufacturers warranty I took it over to a local BMW dealership to have it checked out. After checking over the car The service manager told me that the reason it was leaking oil was because it had a stripped drain plug and oil pan that was caused by an inept mechanic and that it would not be covered under BMW's warranty as it was not a warranty issue. He told me I needed to take the car back to wherever I bought it and have them fix it as they were the ones who had most likely done this to the car. I asked him how much the repair would cost and he told me it was a $3,000.00 job. So I called Carmax and told them what was going on and what I had been told at the BMW Service department. I was then told by a curt employee that she could not get me in for an appointment for several weeks and they would not be able to give me a loaner car while my car was being repaired. After I became very angry and insisted that she connect me to a Manager she said I could bring the car in the next day and she transferred me to the "service" managers voicemail. I met with a service manager by the name of Jared Carnevale and I showed him the work order I had been given from the BMW Service department as to what needed to be done. He was very unsure as to how long it would take to get the car fixed as this is a major repair and requires 10 1/2 hours to complete. I told him I wanted the parts to be OEM, or original parts, he initially said they would not do that but I insisted so he finally told me that they had to order the oil pan and it would take about a week. He told me that because it would take a week to order the part that I should just continue to drive the car and bring it all the way back there when they got the part in, but one of the mechanics told him it was not safe to drive the car so they ended up having to give me a loaner after all. They have now received the oil pan, but Jared called me and told me that his manager told him that they will not be replacing the oil pan and drain plug, and that they are only going to rethread the stripped drain plug. I told him that this was not acceptable and that not only would that void the BMW warranty for these parts, but it would void the warranty entirely because of other issues or damages that this could cause. Jared said he agreed with me and in
