I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Cerritos VW. I purchased a 2025 Atlas SEL Premium R-Line, excited to finally get a top-tier trim—only to discover the AC didn’t work properly from day one the second I drove off the lot. For a brand-new car, that’s completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the dealership’s response. Instead of taking responsibility or showing any urgency to make things right, they essentially shrugged it off and told me to “just go through the manufacturer warranty.” No apology, no effort to reassure me, no sense of accountability—just a flat hand-off. Their Finance Manager Jeff and the General Manager took no accountability not even a good-will adjustment. To make things worse it seems they had previously sold my car which activated all subscriptions and warranty’s on my vehicle since June 29,2025 but I bought my car “New” on November 5, 2025. They have claimed they would correct my subscriptions and warrantied to November but two weeks have passed and nothing has been corrected. At this point not even returning my emails or calls. When you spend this much money on a new vehicle, you expect the dealership to stand behind what they sell. Instead, I felt ignored and brushed aside. I didn’t spend all this money to immediately deal with repairs and runaround. I regret purchasing from Cerritos VW and would caution anyone thinking about buying here to be prepared for zero support once they’ve made the sale.

What should have been a straightforward AC repair turned into a months-long nightmare. Service Manager correctly diagnosed my evaporator coil leak but made a coercive offer: better "goodwill" pricing only if I purchased unrelated tires. Feeling pressured, I accepted. After the AC repair, they scratched my windshield during dash removal. They replaced it, but returned my freshly-detailed car with: Torn headliner upholstery Adhesive/sealant overspray throughout interior Scratches on the NEW windshield Parts still unsnapped The third-party upholstery repair they arranged was poorly done and doesn't match the original texture. I brought them a meticulously maintained, showroom-condition vehicle. They returned it damaged multiple times. Tying major repairs to unnecessary purchases is unethical. Returning vehicles in worse condition than received is unacceptable. I've lost all trust in McKenna Volkswagen and may never buy a VW again.

This dealership has horrible customer service. Octavio Aguirre is non responsive leaving me out 6200 dollars for over 9 weeks now. Stay away from this dealership if you know what’s good for you

I scheduled a firmware update for my ID4, the worker there told me oh yea code 99 is not ready yet. He did not even check my car for which version I had. I don't want to name names but clearly he didn't want to work on my car and I didn't want to waste my time there and wait forever for the service. I wrote a complain on their website and got a message on my phone an hour later with a message of trying to sell me a car, I laughed. I blame the owner or upper manager for this, it seems that they don't care anymore.

I would caution anyone thinking of purchasing a VW not to. When it comes to trading in Volkswagen Cerritos will lowball on your car's worth, $2k - $3k below Kelly Blue Book Value. This tells the customer they have little value in what they sell, VW has become dull & worthless.

I DROP OFF MY CAR ON A MONDAY MORNING FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND HEATER NOT WORKING SPENCER ALLISON TOLD ME THEY WOULD GET ON THE CAR THAT SAME DAY. DIDNT GET A CALL BACK UNTIL THE NEXT DAY THAT THEY NEED TO ORDER A PART AND I WOULD NOT GET THE CAR UNTIL POSSIBLE FRIDAY I REQUESTED A LOANER CAR SPENCER INFORM ME THEY DONT HAVE ANY THAN I TOLD HIM TO ORDER PART AND CALL ME WHEN IT GETS IN ........TWO WEEKS LATER HE DOES KNOW STILL NO PART, NO CALL AND NOW CHECK ENGINE BACK ON. NOW I HAVE TO DRIVE 25 MIN TO ANOTHER DEALER TO WORK ON MY CAR THAT IS UNDER WARRANTY I GUESS THERE IS NO MONEY ON WARRANTY JOBS...

Bought a certified pre-owned Volkswagen Tiguan in early December. We were supposed to have 2 key fobs and we even signed for that, but then at the end, Edwin gave us only one key fob and said the other was somehow lost. BUT they would definitely get a second one ASAP. So I called a few times to check the status, and eventually Edwin called back to say "absolutely don't worry, it is ordered but it will take at least 2 weeks." So we waited and waited and didn't hear anything. Then last Friday my wife went there and inquired in person. They had no record of a new key fob being ordered, but they would put the order in now! Wow, just completely unacceptable! I mean the guy Edwin called to say "Don't worry, the Key Fob is ordered and there is nothing to worry about", and there was no order made! The rest of the experience was average, but the issue above is a complete no-no hence the 1-star rating. UPDATE: I appreciated the Reach Out from Danny Ryan the GM. He didn't overpromise anything but he listened and I felt will make a good effort to make sure this issue is taken care of ASAP and that it doesn't happen in the future to others. So changing my review from 1 to 3 stars.

I recently had a back tire blowout on the 605, as I was passing the dealership. Lucky for me, I was able to get to the dealership and Tyler had his guys put the spare on for me, with no charge. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! I purchased my car here and have been getting my car serviced here for the past 5 years. Tyler and Aisleen (service reps) have always been extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about my car. They have also spent extra time working with the warranty company to make sure everything is getting covered appropriately. I know my car is in good hands when I bring it here. I can't say enough good things about this location!
