They posted a price on two vehicles and when I went into discuss, test drive they claimed that was the wrong price …. An added over $4000 to that price They also sent me an email from the dealership with the same price Big waste of my time

Hi William, We appreciate your feedback and are sorry for any frustration. To clarify, we honored the advertised and emailed price exactly as presented. During your visit, you requested additional discounts beyond both that price and even compared it to a lower-priced vehicle. While we always do our best to work with our customers, we were unable to meet that level of discount. We pride ourselves on transparent, market-based pricing and apologize for any misunderstanding. We wish you the best of luck in finding the right vehicle at the right price.

Service rep Mike was awesome. Got me done in less than an hour and estimated cost was very close to the actual. I will definitely be back!

Title: Jeep Owners Beware – Disappointing, Overpriced, and Incompetent Service After 18 amazing years with my (then brand new) 1998 Jeep Wrangler, I had to take a break from being a Jeep owner. So, when I finally came back to the Jeep family this year with my “new to me” 2021 Jeep Gladiator (under 17,000 miles and in great condition), I was genuinely excited. This felt like coming home. I wanted to do the right thing and take good care of it, so I scheduled a simple, routine service visit at Farrish Jeep in Fairfax before hitting the 20,000-mile mark. Unfortunately, what should have been a positive and exciting experience turned into one of the most frustrating dealerships visits I’ve ever had. Here’s what I was charged: • Oil Change: $106.50 • Tire Rotation: $20 (charged but NOT performed) • Cabin Air Filter: $115.98 • Engine Air Filter: $78.95 • Shop Fees + Tax Total: $372.87 First, this vehicle has never been off-road and has under 20k miles. Being told I needed an engine air filter replacement already is questionable when most are typically replaced closer to 30k miles under normal driving conditions. Second, I chose this dealership partly because they advertised a free car wash. I absolutely did NOT decline the wash, yet my paperwork claimed I did. That might sound small, but it reflects the overall lack of care and accuracy throughout this visit. Now the worst part: they charged me for a tire rotation they did not perform. Their explanation? “Wheels fused to the hubcaps” and they “couldn’t get the lug nuts off.” This is a Jeep dealership. Let that sink in. If their own service department can’t remove the wheels, how exactly am I supposed to do it on the side of the road? Then it hit me: every Jeep owner knows about the locking lug nut key. Basic Jeep ownership 101. They never asked me for it. They never checked the center console or glove compartment (where mine was). They never called me. They simply gave up, charged me anyway, and sent me on my way. When I got home, I used my lug nut key and loosened the lug nut easily. That’s when the disappointment really set in. This isn’t just about the money. It’s about trust. This was my first service visit with my Gladiator, something that should have been exciting after returning to the Jeep community. Instead, I left feeling overcharged, brushed off, and questioning the competence of a Jeep-branded service department. Jeep owners deserve better than this. If you care about your vehicle and want knowledgeable technicians who understand the basics of the brand they represent, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Avoid Farrish Jeep at all costs. Happy to provide my receipt is anyone wants proof.

Dear Mr. Castro, We have attempted to reach you by phone to discuss your concerns regarding your visit on October 9, 2025, but have been unable to connect. If you would like to discuss this matter further after reading this response, please contact me directly at 703-934-1630. We understand that sometimes things go awry during service visits or misunderstandings occur. However, the statements made in your review are verifiably false. We welcome you to show the bill you received to anyone you would like, as the document itself discloses the facts of the matter and disproves the claims made in this review. 1. You were not charged for the tire rotation. You stated you were charged $20 for a service we did not perform. The invoice clearly proves otherwise: Line B is marked "NSP NO SERVICE PERFORMED" . The total charge for this line is listed as $0.00 . 2. The wheels were fused, not locked. You claim our team "couldn't get the lug nuts off" due to a missing key. This is incorrect. The technician's notes on your invoice state: "NO TIRE ROTATION DONE, WHEEL ARE FUSED TO THE WHEEL HUB" . This is a mechanical issue caused by corrosion bonding the wheel to the hub, not a missing key issue. Our technician prioritized the safety of your vehicle over forcing them off. 3. You authorized the filters based on photographic evidence. Regarding the air filters, you were sent photos of the dirty filters directly from the service bay to your device. You then electronically authorized these repairs via the link sent to you. 4. Pricing and Car Wash. Car Wash: The repair order code "DSW DECLINED SERVICE WASH" indicates this was declined at write-up . Total Cost: You claimed a total of $372.87. The actual amount charged to your card—including all taxes, shop fees, and the credit card surcharge—was $356.25 . We stand by the transparency of our documentation and the integrity of our service process. Sincerely, Brandon C. Hall-Brown Service Director Farrish of Fairfax CDJR

lmyers1214, thank you for taking the time to leave a review with us. Your vehicle was towed to our dealership in the evening on 11/11, we began diagnostics in the morning of 11/12 and determined that the main battery had failed. You were sent an estimate with pricing which was reviewed, and spoke on the phone with the advisor and gave approval prior to work being performed. We understand that you can find other batteries online for cheaper than the $685 (this total is parts and labor) that you were charged. When we replace a battery, we replace the battery with the battery approved by the OEM, not the cheapest battery we can find. Our battery pricing is competitive in the marketplace. Not all batteries are made the same and perform the same. If a vehicle needs a new battery, we quote and if approved, replace with what the manufacturer recommends as we are a franchise dealership and these batteries are specifically designed for the vehicles they are placed in. While there are other options, such as aftermarket (non-OEM), we will not quote anything outside OEM or OEM approved equipment unless specifically requested to do so as aftermarket parts can affect the vehicle's warranty and may not perform to the same level or longevity as the OEM specified equipment. That being said, any battery can fail prematurely, and is why a warranty comes with the battery itself. Your battery has a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty.

Elvis dealership is concerned with his upselling you when you drop your car off. They charge three times the amount that apart would cost anywhere else. Chrysler and Jeep in general install batteries that are defective and have to be replaced regularly at a $680 charge minimum. The dealership basically says tough luck. Corporate customer service is now offshore and are useless. The dealership says we sell OEM batteries which is a joke if they can't even last 16,000 miles. Instead of $680 of we would have been better off by one for $150 that would have probably lasted longer. Points of contact at this dealership do absolutely nothing to assist.

alfier1, thank you for leaving a review. Your girlfriend's vehicle was towed to our dealership in the evening on 11/11, we began diagnostics in the morning of 11/12 and determined that the main battery had failed. Your girlfriend was sent an estimate with pricing which was reviewed by you and your girlfriend on the phone with the advisor and gave approval prior to work being performed. We understand that you can find other batteries online for cheaper than the $685 (this total is parts and labor) that you were charged. However, stating that you can buy this particular battery for $150 online is inaccurate. That being said, any battery can fail prematurely, and is why a warranty comes with the battery itself. Your girlfriend's battery has a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and frustration this unexpected repair caused. However, the battery was replaced with prior approval at our standard, competitive pricing which does not create an obligation for a post-repair concession. Thank you again for your review and we wish you the best.

Consumer response

First of all this is the first time I have seen my post which I did using voice to text from my phone and there's obviously a lot of autocorrects, however the gist of it is that we were given no choice regarding the cost because we were told basically take it or leave it. She needed her car so of course we had to agree to it. What were we going to do to have it towed someplace else??? The car had 16,000 miles on it. She literally drives it to the hospital and back which is about 10 miles a day. What is the point of claiming it's an OEM battery when it's a piece of junk,, as was the batteries that I bought for my Chrysler Pacifica. They also died early and even the replacement auxiliary battery died in less than 2 years. So your argument about OEM batteries is meaningless. I might have exaggerated a little bit on the cost. See below: "The average cost to replace a 2022 Jeep Cherokee battery is typically between $200 and $330" your guy told us it was$550 plus labor. Still quite a difference especially when she shouldn't have had to pay anything after only driving 16,000 miles if your OEM battery was worth a damn.. No worries you've lost two customers. I would never recommend anybody to purchase a vehicle or get work done at your dealership

Consumer response

By the way corporate has worked with us but only because they said the dealership refuse to.

My husband and I had such a fantastic experience buying a car for our daughter here! Our salesperson, Han, was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable- he answered all of our questions, and kept us informed through the process. He was very patient, as he took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a vehicle, and when we expressed interest in a specific car, he made sure to point out the features in that vehicle that matched what we were looking for. It was a busy day so we were there for a few hours, and he checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable- which wasn't difficult, as the showroom was bright and clean. During our test drive, Han chatted pleasantly with us, while also pointing out and explaining features of the vehicle and answering any questions. The finance manager was also very professional and took the time to explain each step of the signing process, making sure that we understood exactly what we were signing and what we were getting. Although we've purchased vehicles before and were familiar with the process, it was refreshing to have the finance manager lead in the explanations rather than wait for us to have questions. I think this shows a commitment to customer service, professionalism, and transparency, as taking the initiative to make sure we understood every aspect of the purchase shows that they confident in the quality of their vehicles and in their business practices- they have nothing to hide, and there's no "slickness" or deception/misrepresentation in their sales process. Everyone and everything was clear and aboveboard. Once the paperwork was complete, the dealership gave it a final cleaning (just to be clear- it was already very clean and we were quite happy with it, but they wanted to be sure it met their excellent standards before letting us drive away in it), and Han made sure we didn't have any lingering questions about the car and that we knew where everything was located inside and felt comfortable with it. He also followed up the next day to see how we were getting along and how our daughter liked it, which was very kind (she is still ecstatic!). Our purchase from this dealership was stress-free, comfortable, and very positive- I would highly recommend considering them for your next car purchase if you want a professional, low-stress experience- and ask for Han, he's great!
