Bought a car from them as an out of state buyer. Lots of hidden damages not disclosed. Bad drill holes on doors not disclosed, Vehicle came to me with missing parts. Bad overall experience. Unhappy with condition of vehicle. Tons of scratches on vehicle that were not disclosed AT ALL NOT happy with the condition FORCED to lose thousands of dollars to try to sell it off to someone else. When they offered a buy it back they offered me THOUSANDS of dollars less than what I paid them.. I suggest if you want to buy a car from them to check it out in person because the sales person won’t disclose any damages so they don’t lose the sale. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! AND SAVE YOUR HEADACHE Edit. Per your response I have reached out to you multiple times left multiple voice messages and you leave this review responding to make you look good and while you ignore my calls and voicemails. There’s no need to reach out anymore. Your vehicle was misrepresented to me by your sales associate Jimmy Tseng I ended up losing over $10,000 on this vehicle due to his misrepresentation made by him and your dealership I don’t like mentioning names but losing $10,000 due to someone’s negligence and misrepresentation is really hard for me to eat. Just because he wasn’t honest and he didn’t want to lose the sale But I want to make sure everyone sees this so whatever happened to me, does not happen to anyone else

We worked to provide a fair market valuation based on the vehicle’s age, mileage, condition, and current market data. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet the buyback figure you requested. While it’s understood this was disappointing, that difference in valuation does not reflect any intent to mislead or misrepresent the transaction. We are so thankful to Katie Fitzgerald for providing us with such an amazing experience at Sewell Lexus of Dallas. From start to finish she was outstanding, providing exceptional customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail. My wife wanted a specific exterior and interior color combination that was not being regularly produced by Lexus for this specific model (RX450h+ Luxury). She put in the extra effort to advocate on our behalf and get a special request in to Lexus, where she successfully secured this unicorn for us. We are absolutely thrilled. It's the most beautifully designed and engineered car we've ever seen, and we're thrilled with it. Katie's communication was excellent throughout the whole process. Everything was smooth and stress-free, in advance and on the day of delivery. She was so sweet that she sent a very thoughtful and awesome gift package so my wife had something to open at Christmas since the car did not arrive until January. Katie is the absolute best. She made us feel like family, as did the sales finance manager Brian Arnold, who took time to have a sincere personal conversation with us and answer any questions we had. Complete honesty and transparency at every point in the purchase process. Top shelf experience. We bought our first Lexus from Sewell Lexus of Dallas 20 years ago, and will continue to be loyal customers. This was our second day of looking at cars and nobody treated us better than Sewell Lexus. We came to buy a used Subaru Ascent; they had the car clean, ready and nearby for us to test drive. We got what we expected for our trade in and left in just a few hours very happy. I highly recommend Sewell Lexus of Dallas, they were great!

Called to find a TX and delighted they had one! Gary W. was willing to even stay late after hours for our arrival since we were coming from out of town! They processed a trade and the new purchase in an hour! Gary was professional, courteous, and went over the top on helping us ! He even brought a forgotten garage door opener to us 45 minutes away the next day! Best car buying experience ever! I even noticed a paperwork typo later and Karrie fixed it with in a few hours. Gary never made us feel pressured to rush even though we were keeping them late in a Saturday! That was impressive and not like any other car buying experience I have ever had! Would work with him again for sure because the level of service was impressive!

We’ve seen the commercials about the Sewell experience and ours wasn’t much different, as advertised! I worked with Avery and he was communicative, transparent, and efficient. I went in and out in less than an hour. Don’t think it’ll be our last time here.

We took our Lexus, which we purchased new from them, in for a standard oil change. When we picked our car up there was an additional $80.00 charge for a ‘courtesy’ inspection. Not only did we not ask for this, we were also not informed of the results. Beware of this hidden charge! It is a scam and a way to cheat their customer.

I indicated to a salesman (in a reply to his text to me) that I was 100+ miles from their location and wanted to work remotely. He got back after a couple of days telling me that an initial work up was emailed to me. I never received an email and told him so. He told me to check again. I did, no email. He said “I’m sorry” and to “keep looking”. I never heard another thing from him. I was an interested buyer with a 800+ credit score and a $28,000 trade-in that is paid off. I was planning on paying for the car to be shipped to me. The deal could have been a slam dunk. He did not take me seriously enough to continue the sales effort. Quite arrogant I thought. He should have been just as interested in selling as I was in buying. Probably more so. I received zero follow up. From the dealership until this review request.
