After a very disappointing experience at another Subaru

After a very disappointing experience at another Subaru dealership, visiting Subaru Santa Monica turned out to be a completely different story. From the moment I arrived the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. While waiting for my service I walked through the showroom and was greeted right away by a friendly salesperson with a genuine smile and no pressure at all. My service advisor Kevin was calm, polite and very professional. When we discussed the engine air filter, he checked the condition and explained that based on how it looked it could wait a little longer and suggested replacing it during a future visit. I appreciated that honest and practical approach. The whole visit felt easy, respectful and customer-focused. While I was there I also noticed a new Subaru model in bright yellow — amazing shape and color. After driving my red one for a few years, I suddenly thought that maybe my next lease should be yellow. Thank you Kevin for the professional and courteous service. Experiences like this are exactly what make customers want to come back.

I wanted to share my heartfelt experience over the past

I wanted to share my heartfelt experience over the past year, and to recognize two individuals who truly embody what exceptional customer care looks like.A little over a year ago, I purchased my Subaru with the help of Dino, and from the very first interaction it was clear he is not the stereotypical car salesperson. Dino is kind, compassionate, patient, and genuinely committed to helping people find solutions that work for their lives. He understands that while selling cars is a business, many customers are navigating real-life challenges, and he meets them with empathy and respect. That human approach made all the difference for me.What impressed me even more is that his support didn’t end after the sale. When I experienced an issue with my vehicle, Dino immediately stepped in and connected me with Gabby, the service manager. Like Dino, Gabby has exceptional people skills and a remarkable ability to make customers feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.Given that my car was only a little over a year old, I was understandably concerned especially since a recent service visit hadn’t revealed any problems. Gabby went above and beyond, personally ensuring the issue was thoroughly addressed and resolved so I could feel confident and safe driving my vehicle. Her diligence, communication, and ownership of the situation were truly outstanding. I think most people would agree.It’s rare and incredibly special to see professionals like Dino and Gabby working together within the same car dealership.. I think most people’s experience with car dealerships is pretty negative, but this review is one year and someone after and the care and consideration is still the same as the moment I walked in the door, which to me says a lot .Their care, integrity, and commitment completely shaped my experience as a Subaru owner, and I feel genuinely lucky that my introduction to the Subaru community was through them. Without their kindness and dedication, my perception of owning this vehicle could have been very different. I think. these team members truly represent the very best of your brand and deserve to be highlighted and commended for the impact they make on customers every day. They have really set up our high on making me feel like True Family I feel totally valued by the Subaru company Thank you for fostering a team that truly cares. I would hope that other dealers would take a different approach other than that greasy car salesman approached that you meet at so many dealers. It’s hard to feel valued and not like a walking dollar sign! Congratulations Subaru Of Santa Monica whoever hired these guys knew exactly what they were bringing to the table and how they would elevate the Subaru brand in Santa Monica..

If I could, I would give it 0 stars Go somewhere else. Santa Monica Subaru is a rip off. Mediocre service at best. They charged me for things they recommended that did not address anything I asked for. Waited twice as long as they mentioned and I spend almost three times as money as I expected

I purchased an all electric vehicle, the Subaru Solterra,

I purchased an all electric vehicle, the Subaru Solterra, and was assured by the finance guy, Melroy Fernandez, who assured me that there is a federal tax rebate of $7,500. What he said sealed my decision to purchase the vehicle. After I purchased it and spoke to my CPA, she checked and the government doesn’t include the Subaru for the Clear Air Act because it was not assembled in the USA. So they outright lied to me. When I attempted to have them do right by me, the manager Joey Boktor had no interest in resolving his employees lies. Even though my office is in SM, I hadn’t purchased my last 2 Subaru’s from this SM dealership because the customer service is so bad since it became LACarGuy. Also, if you can’t charge an EV at home, don’t buy one. It’s super inconvenient waiting hours to charge at a public charging station and then waiting a couple of hours while it charges. Ridiculous! SM Subaru said they were offering $400 in charging credit which they have not provided since I purchased it 3 months ago. There is a new term when taking long trips referred to as “Range Anxiety.” It’s a horrible feeling.

subaru santa monica

My 2024 Subaru was in for it's first checkup. As always, the process for efficient and pleasant. The employees are nice and informative. They keep in touch during the waiting period for the car to be done. Over the years of service there I am never disappointed and always feel good and safe in my car as I leave. Diane Baer

My Salesperson was great but I should have inspected the car after it was washed not before, nasty scratch not happy with touchup job difference in color you can feel it and see it. I Love the car and everything about it comfortable smooth ride lots of power..
