Oeut was awesome!

Spent lots of time trying to find the right Certified MDX and Hertrich had it. From the time I walked in the door through signing paperwork and leaving with my MDX, the whole staff was great. If you’re reading this, go buy a car from these guys. Trust me!!

Great Experience!!

I purchased a new Tucson and the process from start to finish was amazing. Luis Ortiz and other staff made sure my fiancé and I were comfortable during our time there and exceeded all my expectations. Very thankful for the professionalism of Luis and will definitely purchase again from him.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE DEPARTMENT

We recently purchased a used Acura from Hertrich Acura of New Castle, DE. After driving it for several hundred miles, we noticed a shudder in the 35-45 mph range. We contacted the service department at Hertrich, and an appointment was made for us. Since we live in Pennsylvania and had a 150 mile drive to Hertrich, we had some anxiety as to what might be wrong with our new vehicle. Upon pulling into the service department, and explaining our problem, the service rep assured us that they would check the vehicle out. We waited while the vehicle was serviced and the service manager, Jeff, came out to the waiting area and explained that they had found the problem....some debris in the transmission fluid. They flushed the fluid out, and then test drove the vehicle again. To make sure that they had resolved the problem, they refilled the fluid and flushed it a second time. He explained that we may, after several hundred more miles, experience the problem if residue was still left in the transmission. At that point, they would be happy to take care of the problem and we should contact them. We drove the vehicle after and found that the shudder was gone. We drove from New Castle, DE, to Pittsburgh for the weekend and experienced no problem at all. I have to say that this is probably the most well run and accommodating dealership we have ever dealt with. Not only did their sales department handle our sale without a problem, but the service department has handled what we thought might have been a serious problem. I would highly recommend Hertrich Acura for both sales and service. They truly stand behind the vehicles they sell. We are very satisfied customers!!!

Best Sales Experience We Have Ever Had!

Yesterday, my husband and I traveled from Selinsgrove, PA to New Castle, DE, to buy a car. We had been searching for a used Acura and had visited several other dealers. I saw a car we were interested on the Hertrich Acura website and called to see if it was still available. I had also called two other dealers to inquire about their vehicles. One of the other dealers never returned my call. The second dealer returned my call, but after I heard from a lovely salesperson at Hertrich named Ty Bailey. She got back to us immediately and, indeed, the car was still available. So off we went to Delaware! Upon meeting Ty, who met us at the door, we found her to be warm, friendly and very low key. She was not the high-pressure type of salesperson you often find in dealerships. She showed us the vehicle, began the process of appraising our trade in and kept us company with very pleasant conversation throughout the afternoon. The car was just what we had been looking for, even the color was our first choice. It was like it was meant to be! We waited while the new car was being detailed and left Hertrich Acura very happy customers! Ty was a pleasure to deal with, a very hard worker (she has more than one job), and we highly recommend both the dealership and Ty if you are looking for not only a great deal, but a great experience as well! Thank you, Ty, for such a wonderful afternoon and best of luck to you in all your future endeavors!

Thanks, Nick Florio

Thanks to Nick Florio, my first service experience was turned around and I can leave a happy customer. After a few bumps in the road, Nick sat with me, reassured me the problem would be resolved and it was. I appreciate you, Nick. Thanks

I felt extremely uncomfortable.

I felt extremely uncomfortable when I walked in. I previously spoke with Mr. Forilo. In reference to expired gift cards I received a week prior to. He assured me that he would give me a $100 gift card for my trouble. I didn't realize once her saw that i was black, I waited for 15 mins b4 someone acknowledged me and my son. Mr. Ferilo never acknowledged my presence. I felt very discriminated against and I will tell all my family and friends about my traumatic experience.

Great group

Margaret, my service advisor, was fantastic. I needed some work done on my 95 NSX, and they were both able to give me the most competitive price and were wonderful to work with. They gave me a very nice MDX loaner for two days while the work was done, and kept me informed on the work. A couple other things came up as well and they informed me promptly, asked me what I wanted to do, and fixed them without issue at a very good price. I have never dealt with this dealership before, but I'll certainly be returning for years to come!

Poor service department

First off let me just say I had written on here before. I gave them a second chance. I am writing this to warn others about my experience. I took my car in for its routine service on May 4, 2018. I always take my car in every 5000 miles which is recommended. Donna the service advisor tried to tell me that my car was due for a tune up which is recommended at 100,000 miles. I stated to her that I believe I had the done. She stated that I did not. I said I need to check my paperwork at home before I say yes because I am pretty sure I had this done. She insisted that it was not in the system that I had. I moved on to the next subject which was once again how my tire sensor light keeps coming on. I have taken this car in serveral times and I have even kept a log of when the tire light was coming on. The last time I mentioned it to them there answer was that it was just low. That was at my last service appointment on November 17, 2017. So I am waiting for my vehicle and after an hour and half which seemed kind of long for an oil change she comes over to me and says your tire sensor needs to be replaced. I state to her that I have replaced them previously. She says let me go check. She comes back with an attitude stating no you did not. I know for a fact that I did. So once again they are accusing me of lying. She becomes very rude to me and states no you did not. She comes back with a printout which is pretty much useless because it is not detailed. When she gives it to me she has to state you will see you did not have this done with a major attitude. So she leaves and then comes back with a list of things that need to be done. She continues on about the sensor I state to her I have had this done. I can see the service manager Jeff also looking. She states in a very ignorant tone no you did not. Finally I say you know what I am not getting anything else done here I am done. The service manager then hurries over to talk to me. I am very upset and say to him I am finished to just give me my paperwork so I can pay for the oil change as I will not be back since this is the second time you are calling me a liar. He then says lets go into my office. Obviously he didn't want other people to see me calling them out.We go into his office. I am extremely upset since I have been coming to this place and haven bought all of our cars here since 2003. I have gotten all service done here. I am still having the same issues with tire light in which they have now stated all of a sudden it is a sensor issue but what is funny is that before they just told me nothing was wrong and they were just low. Kind of interesting now they find the problem but they couldn't before. While I am in his office I say i want a detailed description of what I have had done because I know that one I have had the sensors replaced before and second I know that I have had the tune up done.Jeff was nice and did take the time to go through everything with me but it shouldn't have gotten to that. If Donna would have did her job correctly this would not be happening. All she had to do was look in the system thoroughly and she would have seen that I have had this done. So as we are looking he says you had 4 new tires put on and then 2 tires put on three months later. I was like NO! Why would I have had 4 tires put on and then two new tires 3 months later. I said to him that doesn't even make sense. So he then goes into the ticket. Guess what he finds? I DID have two sensors replaced but of course now the warranty on them is expired. My point was, but I have been bring my car in with the issue with the tires losing air which could have meant that the sensor was going bad at the time. He tell well I can't assume that. I have to go by the paperwork. Of course he does but again I do not trust them. My point was that I was bringing the car in because of the tire light and no one had an answer for me but now since the warranty has expired..
