P.J. and the Staff of the Chicago Car Guys are wonderful. I call in told them what I wanted in the area of a used car, they took that information and emailed me a picture of the car I wanted. I purchased the car with NO HASSLE. If you are lookin' for a car, call these Guys they will put you in what you want, financing available and payments reasonable. Thanks you Guys!!!!!

Proud BMW Owner

I think the business had a family feel to it. It was very charming. Aside from the cozy aesthetics, I thought the staff was very personable, kind, humble, knowledgable, and honest. I don't mind if a place doesn't have all the bells and whistles... I just need good customer service and quality product. These guys had both. From internet communication all the way through driving out onto the road, they were very helpful. I just made a purchase today and so far I'm all smiles. Thanks John, Greg, and PJ! Good job fellas.

Finally really approved!

After going to a bunch of dealers we almost decided to not make this last stop but glad we did! my friend was able to get approved and actually drove off the lot! The sales guy Ruben said if anybody can make it happen it was the finance guy PJ and he was right!

Purchased a lemon when told it was great!

I wrote a review before i shipped the car & saw it. This car was a lemon. PJ knew it. I asked him to drive it and look it over. They offered me a great deal, in paying for half the shipping. It wasn't worth shipping and he knew it. It needs close to $1,000 work, including the engine that blows smoke, back door (SUV 2004) won't open, backseat chairs won't go down, antenna was in front seat, front arm console was completely broken off among other things. These people are very dishonest and will take advantage of anyone!! I told him I had just enough to buy a car, going through a divorce & will end up with nothing, yet he laughed and said I was in good hands. I read other reviews, they were good & bad. I had a Carfax report. It looked great on paper, but they all lied about the condition!!!!!! I'm still trying to sell it and will lose about $1,000.

Purchased a 2000 VW Cabrio

Worked with PJ on a car for my granddaughter, smooth deal and his people were helpful loading the car on my trailer to take it home to MI. Would deal with them again if looking for another used car Gene

Great Personal Service

I bought a great used BMW from Car Guys. They treated me so well & gave me such a fair deal that my daughter decided to buy a car from them,, as well. She had some problems with the car she purchased & the Car Guys were so responsive! They had the car repaired & went the extra mile & did even more than we expected. They really believe in making sure the customer is thrilled with the car & the deal they offer. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK!!!

Let's see how to start this. I drove 5hrs to pick up a 2001 land rover discovery. The sales guy over the phone had told me the car was mint. Besides a few very miner spots. He said it had a small crack on the front passenger corner bumper, "small crack". The crack went from top to bottom. Bumper is almost in 2 pieces. I let that slide. The car was far from mint. The headliner was falling down, dents and scratches everywhere. Now that's the little things. The big stuff that I found out after the transaction. The back passenger door won't open. The dealer said it was a fuse issue. I took his word for it. Found out its a bad ground issue. The back doors child's safety switch is on and since you can't open from the inside and the bad ground won't let the power locks work means it won't open at all. Then on test drive the car over heated. Back at the dealership frond the coolant cap undone. "GREAT TRICK GUYS"!!!!!!! Sales guy said "O the mechanic must have forgot to put it back on". He filled it and put cap back on. I drove it around again and seemed ok. 5 weeks later the thermostat went out then a week after that the power steering wend out. My sun roof is leaks. On the drive home from the dealer half the speakers in the car went out. The spare tire was flat and they put air in it and when I got home it was flat again. And on top of it all, my check engine light just came on. O and let me add, over the phone I was told it had 2 keys and the fabs are built into the key. For some reason the sales guy couldn't find the second one and the one I have is broke, and not just broke but half the cover is missing and there is a small crack in the key. Sales guy said he would let me know when he found the second key. Still no call. Every time in get in the car I think to myself what's next, what's getting ready to break. All in all, I'm "VERRRRRRRY" unhappy with Chicago Car Guys all around. I'm in a bad place and had a family member Lind me the money for the car because I had to have a car to drive to work and now it's going to cost me about what I paid for the car to fix it. "MINT"! Just for record, I picked up this car at the very end of September 2013 and I'm posting this review January 9th 2014. I know, all of that in such a short time for a MINT car.

Hello Matt, Sorry about your experience, a Land Rover is not a vehicle to purchase if you are on a budget, you should have done your research first!! They are know as one of the least reliable yet most beautiful vehicles on the market. We sell them because people love them, however the majority of our Land Rover customers are familiar with the vehicles and expect to spend a lot of money on maintenance or already know of a Land Rover specialist that can assist them. They are considered to be an elite vehicle, we do not offer an extended warranty for them because we are unable to find a company that covers them. You have has this Land Rover for almost 6 months, we are unable to predict the future of a vehicle and urge people to buy warranties, in your case there was not a warranty available. If you need a reliable car to get back and forth we recommend you trade your Land Rover in for a domestic or Japanese vehicle as they are known for reliability, if you want to look like a million dollars when you go to a nice restaurant or family event keep the Land Rover as it is a status symbol!

These guys are the real deal! This was my first car buying experience and I am proud I started with these guys! Amazing people and I know I will be getting More cars from them In the future!

Family like environment

We bought our daughter a car from these guys a few months ago and everything was great. This time we went in to get my son his first car and the process was excellent once again. I was very surprised that they actually remembered my whole family and little random facts about us. We purchased the Toyota for my son and my husband is considering going back for a luxury vehicle this spring. This didn't feel like a typical car dealership, they were friendly and polite and didn't pressure is at all. We look forward to doing business with them for years
