Outstanding Customer Service Under New Management My husband and I were long-time customers of this dealership until an unfortunate experience in 2022 under previous management. After making a significant purchase, we encountered repeated service issues with our brand-new vehicle. Despite multiple visits, the problem was not resolved, and the vehicle sustained additional damage during each service appointment. The situation continued to worsen, and when the issue was not addressed or the vehicle replaced, we ultimately chose to take our business elsewhere. Recently, we found ourselves back in the market for a new vehicle and learned that the dealership was under new management. With some hesitation but an open mind, we decided to give the dealership another opportunity—and we are so glad we did. From the very first phone call, the experience was noticeably different. Chase scheduled our appointment, followed up to confirm, and greeted us outside upon arrival with a warm handshake and a genuine smile. That level of professionalism immediately put us at ease. Inside, we were happy to reconnect with Dave, who had already been informed of our visit. Shortly after, the new General Manager, Caleb, personally introduced himself and took the time to sincerely apologize for our previous experience. He assured us that he and his team were committed to making things right and proving that the dealership’s values and customer focus had truly changed. Caleb, Dave, and Chase worked seamlessly together to help us find the perfect vehicle at a fair price. They went above and beyond to secure excellent financing, a strong warranty, and a comprehensive service plan to protect our investment—all at an outstanding value. Over the past decade, my family and I have purchased several vehicles from Carolina Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and we’ve proudly recommended the dealership to friends and relatives. While my experience in 2022 left me disappointed and convinced I would never return, I recently had the opportunity to see just how dramatically things have changed under the new leadership, and I am genuinely impressed. This past weekend, my wife and I began exploring options to trade in one of our vehicles. After receiving little help elsewhere, I reached out to my longtime friend Dave, now the Acting Sales Manager. After an open and honest conversation, we decided to visit the dealership again, knowing it was under entirely new management. From the moment we arrived, the difference was unmistakable. The General Store Manager, Caleb, set the tone immediately. His professionalism, sincerity, and commitment to restoring trust were remarkable. It’s not often that a General Manager personally introduces himself, acknowledges past shortcomings, and expresses a genuine desire to earn back a customer’s business. Long story short: Quoted $10,585. 35 for repairs. Actual cost to fix $1167.66 * All documents shown are from both shops for proof and transparency. Short story long: I never write reviews, but this experience was too wrong to ignore. I took my Jeep in for oil and coolant mixing. Service Manager Christopher Rodriguez told me both head gaskets were blown and quoted over $10,000 to fix it. The car had never overheated, and their invoice showed no proof of testing. The mechanic even told us to “flush it and trade it in” — and said it was fine to drive home. We got a second opinion — the head gaskets were perfectly fine. The real problem was a bad oil cooler, repaired for $1,167.66. Jeep of Lugoff still charged a $200 diagnostic fee and even tried to sell me a new car. Later I learned they earn commissions on repairs and sales. Another mechanic we spoke with warned us about them, saying the way that dealership operates is “highway robbery without a gun.” It’s unfair and greedy to take advantage of honest, hard-working people. Always get a second opinion. Hopefully this helps someone

My husbands vehicle was not returned to standard. Service advisor Chris Rodgriuez left random pieces in our car and car came back missing clips and claimed it came in like that. No documentation stating that at all. This is ridiculous

We own a RAM 6.7 Cummins Diesel and have had unsatisfactory experiences with service departments at several of the RAM dealers in the Carolinas. We found Carolina Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM a few years ago and have had outstanding experiences. Their service department staff embody small town values. They are trustworthy, do quality work, and are extremely fairly priced. Appointments always start on-time and they get us out quickly. They saved us a ton of money on a recent brake pad replacement and rotor resurfacing for our dually. We drive an hour to get to Camden/Lugoff, but the drive is worth the time. I don’t trust anyone else to service our truck.

Third vehicle we have bought from this dealership, always an exceptional experience. The entire staff are friendly and professional. Trey, the sales person was outstanding as he helped with explaining the vehicle and checking in after the sales to ensure everything was going well with my new 2500.

Anna, Jeff, Dave and the entire team at Carolina CJDR were extremely helpful in the process of buying a “new” used car. We knew the car we wanted, so the process was relatively quick and they worked with us to get a good deal as well. Everyone was very trustworthy and kind, which made it all that much easier.

I was traveling back to West Virginia and my service 4 wheel drive light came on. David May from the service department was extremely nice and helpful. He did a test with his handheld device and cleared the codes and said have a safe drive home. This is an employee who goes above for your customers. This is very difficult to find these days. I sincerely thank him for his kindness and professionalism.
