1st time and last

1st time there and will be the last time. Appointment was for Oct 8, 2021 at 1220 PM. Arrived at 1215 PM and explained in detail my truck is getting the "THE WORKS" (Oil Change & Tire Rotation) and included a car wash to Service Advisor Alex Garcilazo. Noticed my truck pulled into the bay area at 1:08 PM. I went back to the service area and said is my truck done at 1:45 PM. I was told "yes" and yet no one came to inform me it was. I could been waiting longer if I did not approach first. After I paid my bill I went to my truck and noticed no car wash. Went back into the service area again and explained why my truck did not receive a car wash. No answer was given, but my truck did get one after I had to complain. I always went to Porcaro Ford located in Racine, WI and my truck was always done under 1 HR with no miscommunication at all. I was told by Service Advisor Alex Garcilazo that there is a lack of communication at Ewald's Ford. I am confident I am not the only person who has been having issues like this. I even checked feedback and the rest explains itself.

Just brought home another new vehicle from Ewald Ford....

Just brought home another new vehicle from Ewald Ford. It was a very positive experience with my knowledgeable salesperson, Michelle and the ease with which Tyler handled the paperwork. This is the only dealership where I can purchase a car without any headaches.

I traded in my 2014 impala, for a 2020 explorer. Baha was an excellent sales rep. Usually they annoy me but he only helped me. He new everything about the vehicle and worked with me on the end price. Thankyou Baha and Ewald.

Nightmare! I bought a 2018 Nissan nh and didn’t receive a...

Nightmare! I bought a 2018 Nissan nh and didn’t receive a title to register the vehicle. I live 1200 miles away and flew in to pick up the truck. I can’t get any help from them to resolve the issue. They referred me to the bank we financed through and they will not release the title until the vehicle is payed off. Ewald got their $11000 down payment and washed their hands of me. Now I’m stuck with a vehicle I can’t register in my state. I’ve tried to get xxxx from my dmv, Wisconsin dmv, ally bank, ewald and I’ve gotten nowhere . Now I have to litigate

Baha was our sales person and he was perfect. Very attentive, professional snd took care of all our requests. John Milton was also really good. All in all a very pleasant used car purchase experience. I will recommend them to others.

Proficient, Professional, and Painless

It has been awhile since I bought from a dealer and I was dreading it. I need not have worried. This experience was excellent and painless. Sean helped me specifically. Nice job and thanks Ewald.

I brought my car into Ewalds for service because their...

I brought my car into Ewalds for service because their schedulers told me I had a shot at getting a loaner that day. The first thing Bob told me was that they only give loaners for warranty work. I had passed up a closer dealer that does give loaners too, and my car was being towed, so that was a significant first strike. My car was already there though, and I wasn't about to pay for a second tow, so I had them look at it. They then turned and repeatedly lied through their teeth, trying to get me to replace an engine block that didn't need replacing. 1st I was told there was coolant in my cylinders and the cylinders were very scored. 2nd I was told that the spark plugs were soaked in coolant, and it would not have been worth the time to look any further for damage, so they just decided it needed an engine replacement. 3rd I was told my engine had seized. 4th I was told that there was so much coolant in the cylinders they couldn't even look for scoring, but because the coolant had gotten into the engine it had to be replaced. Luckily, I know enough about cars to know that coolant in the cylinders is not necessarily a death sentence for your car. Usually it just means you need a new head gasket and/or cylinder head. I brought my car to a small shop, where they cleaned out the cylinders and the car started right up. So for a quarter of the dealer's quoted repair cost, my car will be up and running again. Oh, and BTW, the cylinders are not scored, nor, obviously, had the engine seized. Ewalds did kill my battery though.

Jerome already had a chance to make things right. He attempted this by offering to do your recommended repairs allegedly at cost+$100, coming out to $5300. That deal sounds great on paper, but it seems your cost is astronomically higher than it should be. He didn't break up the cost into labor and materials, but I can get the parts at /retail/ for $2000, and I can get the labor at /retail/ for $1000-1500. Oh. And that's with an unlimited mile 3 year warranty. I get that your retail is not set up to be the lowest out there, but either Jerome lied to me too, or else you need some serious help cutting your costs. There's no excuse for a Ford dealer's cost for a Ford repair being $2200 higher than competitors' retail. And frankly, I find it much more likely that your company practice of lying outright to your customers is a problem all the way up at the top.
