I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my experience with the Service Department at Jack Daniels Kia, which I believe reflects extremely poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and unacceptable vehicle handling—especially for a warranty repair. My vehicle was initially brought in due to a check engine light. I was informed the issue was repaired and picked up the car, only to have the same warning light return within five miles of driving. I immediately returned the vehicle. At that point, the dealership kept my car for an additional two months, bringing the total time out of my possession to over three months. During this entire period, communication was severely lacking. Phone calls routinely went unanswered. There was no proactive outreach, and the only communication I received was via text—typically only when the dealership wanted something from me. I was left repeatedly in the dark about the status of my vehicle. At one point, I was told that no one at the dealership could diagnose the issue and that a specialist from Korea was required. Despite this, my vehicle was clearly treated as a low priority, which I strongly believe was due to the fact that the repair was covered under warranty. The loaner vehicle situation was equally unacceptable. The first loaner car provided was dirty, smelled strongly of marijuana, and contained what appeared to be leftover drugs from a previous customer. Additionally, the headlights provided extremely poor visibility, raising serious safety concerns. I immediately reported this and requested a different loaner. I was told no replacements were available and that I would have to keep the vehicle as-is. Even more troubling, when I raised these concerns again at vehicle pickup, the Service Manager—Charlie M.—dismissed them outright and stated there was “nothing wrong” with the loaner vehicle. His demeanor was arrogant, dismissive, and entirely inappropriate for someone who claims extensive customer service experience. He showed no interest in hearing my concerns, taking accountability, or offering a meaningful resolution. As a token gesture, I was offered one oil change, despite months of inconvenience, repeated failures to repair the vehicle correctly, unsafe loaner conditions, and chronic lack of communication. No fair or reasonable service recovery was ever discussed.

Excellent service.

Excellent service. Explained what was wrong with the car and what needed to be done. Love the video sent showing you where the problem exists.

Jack Daniels Kia Sales department is epic and enjoy going

Jack Daniels Kia Sales department is epic and enjoy going to them when getting a new Vehicle. All the sales reps go over and beyond to make the purchasing Soo much easier . But Very Disappointed in The Service department in FairLawn . Recently spent a lot of money servicing my Car to have issues with there service days later. Went to a local Mechanic and now my Car is in Good condition. Avoid the Service Department. Save your Time & $$$ by taking your vehicle to a local Mechanic.

Everyone we met at the jack daniels kia was so nice and

Everyone we met at the jack daniels kia was so nice and helpful. We first came on a really busy night as a walk in and we were still helped. Thank you so much Camille and Andrew for helping us even though you both already had alot going on. Special thanks to Camille who helped us get the car we wanted and looked at our trade in car too which we really didn't think we could get much for based on a different dealers offer. Was glad she took a look and gave us a value that was way more fair. Camille is super knowledgeable, very communicative, and was so kind to us and our toddler. Highly recommend Camille Ciauri as your sales person!

Absolutely Fantastic Experience at Jack Daniels Kia! I visited another Kia dealership before coming to Jack Daniels Kia and honestly, I wasn’t impressed with the staff at the other locations, but the moment I walked into Jack Daniels and met Jasmine, everything changed. From our very first hello, I could tell she was someone special. Her personality was warm, genuine, and down-to-earth — no pushy sales tactics, just real conversation and real care. She truly went above and beyond to help me and was incredibly knowledgeable throughout the process. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jason, the General Manager. He was straightforward, honest, and truly worked with me to find something that fit my budget — no sugar-coating, just the truth and real effort. The entire team at Jack Daniels Kia was amazing. I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to go see my girl Jasmine and the outstanding crew at Jack Daniels Kia. You won’t regret it!

Poor business practices.

Poor business practices. Condescending, rude, manager does not care about customers at all. Takes advantage of senior citizens. My parents were taken advantage of and not given the opportunity to see their actual paperwork before being pushed into signing. Walked away in a bad financial situation because they were unable to see the actual numbers on the paperwork. There was no actual paperwork. They were told it was all on the tablet (in very tiny print) but my father cannot see in one eye and had cataract surgery 3 weeks ago on the other. Garbage car dealership. Would recommend to NO ONE. Salesperson denies numbers that she directly quoted to my parents and claims she “never said that.” So now they are stuck because the papers were signed. BEWARE if you are elderly and on a fixed income! You should bring your lawyer with you if you go to this dealership otherwise you will be taken advantage of as well.

Looking for a 2025 Sportage. Saw one on the website listed at $34,140. Went to the Showroom today on Route 4. They offered me the SAME CAR for $3000 MORE than the window sticker!!! WHAT A RIPOFF!!! There are REPUTABLE Kia dealerships, but Jack Daniels is unfortunately an EMBARRASSMENT to the KIA organization. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP.
