car damage after maintenance

I brought in my vehicle for maintenance after the check engine light came on. The repair was for a pair of faulty sensors. However, after picking up the car the hood would not latch completely. The damage is obvious from both visual inspection and when driving above 25mph. The damage was not apparent before the maintenance but was there immediately after picking the vehicle up.

Mike, our salesman, was very helpful. He listened to me when I explained what I was looking for in a new truck. He did not try to pressure me into buying more than what I wanted. Elmer, was very easy to work with during the purchase process. Yes I will recommend Frederick Motor Company to my friends.

Smooth and Easy

Connected around midnight with a live chat person who contacted me again the next morning first thing... and connected me with a sales person who was helpful and everything was smooth and easy. Was able to purchase from several states away and it was not at all difficult. They made it smooth and easy for my in-laws to pick up our new car and were available to answer questions immediately afterward via text. No headaches or hassles!

Failed repair

If you want to pay $500 for a “repair” that never takes place, this is the shop for you. Absolutely stay away from this place!

the latest major problem started back 02-01-18 Frederick motor company put rear brakes on my 2016 350HD Transit a day or so later I reported the rear rotors on the brakes they had just installed had a grinding noise and it took 8 trips x 3 to 7 hrs each trip and over 5 months to repair, also 1 to 1 3/4 years and 18 plus trips I still have vibration in tires, seat and steering wheel between 65 miles per hr. and up after ask to only balance the tires, xxxx the first time they rotated and spun balanced it took 5 plus trips and they ended up using my spare tire to correct, I'm the only man that drives my truck and you have my word, I had never hit one thing,only asked to spin balanced and rotate as to get good wear out of tires

Tires were bad and FMC missed it

Had to return my vehicle two months after a regular maintenance service at which I asked to have wheel/tire noise inspected and was told everything was fine. To find out this time that the tires were ”torn up” with the excuse that the earlier service technician was “inexperienced” and missed the tire problem. Not what I expect when I take my car in for service.
