Dropped my truck off on a Friday morning for a warranty battery change and a customer pay oil change. Did not hear back from them on Friday. I called on Saturday and they said they might be able to get it in the shop Monday. They called me Monday late morning and said they are going to try and get it in,they weren't sure they would get it in. Other wise they had the truck Friday, Saturday, and part of Monday, and couldn't change a battery and do an oil change. I picked the truck up without any work done. I went inside to talk to someone hire up than service and the only person was the sales manager. He was the only one that seemed concerned that there was a problem. He took my phone number and said someone will call me. No call from anyone. The only one that called a day or two later was the sales manager to ask if anyone has called. I told him he was the only one. I had this same problem with them 3 years ago and they told me it would take 4 days to change a battery and do an oil change. I guess they do not care about customers in the service department. They must only care if sales sells a car and don't want to do any service repairs. I have owned 7 nissan vehicles and was looking to trade my car in at that dealership. I will not buy another nissan. I will buy another brand. When my truck is out of warranty, I will trade out of it also, not for a Nissan though. I worked for nissan for 17 years. I was a parts manager for Nissan for 7 years. I currently work for Nissan in Decherd. (I don't believe Patrick was the service writer but his name is the only choice for service. It won't pass the question without picking someone.)

Ethane made the process seamless for us when we recently purchased a 2018 Toyota Tacoma 4WD truck. He explained everything in detail and his follow up after the purchase was appreciated too. The John Roberts sales team was great and we will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you, Ethane and John Roberts Nissan!

After John Roberts Nissan in Manchester ran diagnostics on my sons 2015 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum for the AV screen, radio, and air not working on August 19th, 2025; they gave me a quote of $8,928.60 (before tax) to repair the problem. In speaking with the lady at the desk, where you drive your car in, she was very short with me. When I declined service and stated that we would remove, and look at the head-unit storage device and operating system (whether it be an SD card or a hard-drive) she acted as if I was imbecilic. When I asked what they would replace, she said the entire system and that I can’t access inside the dash. She appears to be a nice person; just one who has no clue about the system. I arrived for my 1pm appointment and was told the mechanic was out for lunch and it would be a while: I had no problem with that. Yet, I don’t think, anyone ran sufficient diagnostics! I have a copy of the service manual on my kitchen table! I was able to repair the system in about 3 hours, by replacing the AV head-unit with one I picked up for $127 (tax and shipping included) from an on-line site selling parts from wrecks. Nissan wanted over $6,000 for a new one. Now, I have to look at the power steering system that they claim is leaking from the rack. It does not leak from the rack here or up on the lift at my mechanics shop! We’re going to replace the O-ring and see if that fixes the problem they want $3,926.00 plus tax, to repair. So, they wanted $12,854.60 to effect repairs: before adding taxes. That would be over $14,000. They appear to be unable to problem solve and simply want to replace entire systems; rather than the AV storage device (microSD or hard drive) and/or the power steering pump O-ring. They certainly appear to think that we are idiots. I’m thrilled that the quotes from John Roberts Nissan were so outrageous. Had they been rational quotes (‘Recommendations’) I likely would have paid because I’m in the middle of a remodel. Thank goodness I found 3 hours on 8/27/25 and fixed my sons vehicle for lunch money.
