This is the best car buying experience I have had in my life (I'm 77yo and I have purchased a bunch of cars). Jim Russell is the best. He helped me understand the electric vehicle and the important differences between gas and electric cars. No pressure, no long winded promises, just the important things. Also the actual details of the sale and the financing were fast and painless. I recommend Russell Chevrolet.

Russell Chevrolet service

I came into the dealership on Friday 1/20 due to my check engine light coming on. The service guy plugged the diagnostic tool up to the car and advised me that my temperature sensor was causing the light to be on. They were booked for Friday so I was able to get an appointment for Wednesday 1/25. I come back on Wednesday and I am told that I need another diagnostic and it will cost 150 and that does not include the repair. Of course they found the same issue even though the check engine light was not on this time. So I was charged a diagnostic fee of 150 plus the repair. I totally understand the repair fee but I am totally pissed with the diagnostic fee. They told me about the temperature sensor on the Friday before for free only to charge me on the subsequent visit. If I let someone else repair it I would totally understand the fee but I brought it back to the dealership to have it fixed. It appears that I will need to start looking for another dealership to treat me like a valued customer. Totally dissatisfied.
