After a deal at another dealership unexpectedly fell through—and after going through one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had—Michael Boulton and Jaylen Moreno completely stepped in and turned everything around. They were the complete opposite in every way, and it immediately restored my opinion of their parent company. From the very beginning, Michael made it his mission to locate the exact car I wanted and bring it into Global Imports MINI. What started as a frustrating and disappointing situation elsewhere became seamless, professional, and genuinely enjoyable because of their effort, communication, and follow-through. What truly stood out was the level of care and ownership they took. Michael and Jaylen went far above and beyond at every step. They were responsive, transparent, and proactive, and they made me feel like a priority the entire time—something that is incredibly rare in the car buying process. I just purchased my 2026 X5 50e last night from Mladen Drobac and had such a positive experience! I was really just going in for a test drive and value my trade. Mladen was so genuinely kind and friendly, I was immediately put at ease! There was not a lot of back and forth and I was very happy with the deal I received. Every person I encountered that worked there including finance were fantastic. Exceptional experience and a HUGE shout out to Mladen Drobac, he was really what made the experience quick, painless and efficient. To my genuine shock, I discovered an unauthorized $194 charge on my credit card by Global Imports BMW for parking violations on a complimentary loaner vehicle — a full month after I had already returned it. BMW paid $97 twice per entry using my credit card without notifying me or giving me any opportunity to dispute what were entirely avoidable charges for complimentary parking at LA Fitness. What makes this even more disappointing is that the situation was completely preventable. A simple phone call or email would have allowed me to address the matter directly with the gym manager, who was surprised the tickets had simply been paid, as they are routinely dismissed for members. Instead, my credit card was charged immediately, and only afterward was paragraph #6 of the contract cited — as though that excused the absence of communication and basic courtesy. Years of what I believed was a respectful and positive relationship were undermined by this single incident. Rather than feeling valued as a loyal, long-standing customer, I felt dismissed and reprimanded — my money taken without discussion and returned only if I agreed to forfeit future loaner privileges. It felt far less like customer service and far more like punishment. This was never simply about $194. It was about transparency, fairness, and mutual respect. Please note, it does take us some time to receive tolls and parking violations, but when we receive them, we must remit payment right away. We emailed you both violations that you received and documentation where we paid them and simply charged you what we paid. We were very honest with you in saying that we would no longer extend a courtesy vehicle in the future should you decide to move forward with the refund. We processed your refund immediately after we got off the phone. While we do apologize if you did not feel like our practices are fair, however, we were only charging you for damages that you incurred while the vehicle was in your possession per the courtesy vehicle agreement. After reviewing my finance contract shortly after the purchase, I discovered that additional and unnecessary warranties were added to my contract without my full understanding or consent, which significantly increased my monthly car payment. Within two days of the purchase, I returned to the dealership to address this issue. I first spoke with the finance representative, Jay, who informed me that the contract could not be changed. I then attempted to resolve the issue with my sales man, Derrek, who also failed to provide assistance or offer any solution. I escalated my concerns to dealership management, Peter Bearsch, Michael Kim who likewise stated that nothing could be done. As a final step, I contacted BMW Customer Relations, where I was told that the only action available was to submit the complaint, with no resolution or corrective action offered. This situation is unacceptable and unfair. The addition of unnecessary warranties to my finance contract resulted in a higher monthly payment for coverage I do not need, especially while the vehicle remains fully covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. I made a good-faith effort to resolve this matter promptly and internally, yet I was repeatedly denied assistance at every level.
