Scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle.

Scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle. They knew I was driving an hour & 20 minutes. I arrived earlier than my appointment time to find the vehicle was in the middle of being sold to someone else and the person I'd been speaking with was nowhere to be found. They had scheduled multiple appointments for the same vehicle around the same time knowing several parties were driving from far away. Then another salesperson tried to sell me a different vehicle that didn't have the options I needed & was more expensive. Not pleased with this experience at all.

As usual my visit was A+++++ Maddie was very efficient, friendly, and did a great job. This is the fourth car I purchased and have serviced with Northstar. Will get my next 1 there too.

Unnecessary work performed

Brought my diesel vehicle in for service. Check engine light, stalling, rpm limitations?. Diagnostic code said fuel control module failure. I did the research and saw it was a known issue with the LM2 duramax. Later that day I was told there was gasoline in my diesel tank, and that was the problem. I fill up at the diesel only truck pump. There is no way there was gasoline in that tank. The diesel mechanic said it was green like gasoline and smelled like gasoline?. Diesel has green additive added to it in the winter. Tank was dropped, and cleaned and fuel system parts replaced unnecessarily. After that $2000 service the original diagnostic code was still in and the vehicle was still stalling. They replaced a $75 fuel control module and the issue was fixed, just like I said it would be when I brought it in. Then the communication from the service advisor was inadequate and unprofessional. I?ll never take my vehicle there again.

The car was exactly as advertised and I was very happy

The car was exactly as advertised and I was very happy with the purchase. The sales person was Mike Bobrowski and he was totally professional. Love the dealership and would go back to North Star without hesitation.

I brought my truck to be inspected.

I brought my truck to be inspected. 3 months later I have a gaping hole in my frame, obviously missed during the inspection. I confronted Mike the service manager, he told me that could have happened after the inspection. I said no this was missed and he did not want to hear that, over talking me about something irrelevant the whole time. The negligence and arrogant attitude I did not appreciate. Very very poor people skills,and could not communicate with me, the customer. I highly recommend nobody go there.

New Silverado

The new truck was parked in lot when we pulled in. Salesman greeted us almost immediately. Truck was inspected by us and we test drove it. It?s perfect. Deal was almost too good to believe. Paperwork process was seamless. Highly recommend Northstar Chevrolet.
