Big Pockets needed

Hennessy Honda is the place for you if you are looking to pay $8K plus over MSRP on a new vehicle and receive $6K less than other dealers on your trade. Ignore the MSRP Sticker on the car, because it is just a conversation starter and doesn't even come near to the price they are going to charge you. Went in to trade in a vehicle for a new car. I felt disrespected when they brought the numbers out. Before looking at the truck I was trading in, they offered a range of $24K-$26K. After telling them the offer was a joke, they decided to carry it over to the used lot and have someone look at it over there. They came back with a $27,500 offer at which point I decided to leave since they were not going to come close to the actual trade-in value. I took the truck to CarMax and got an offer for $32K. Then, went back to Hennessy Honda, at which point they decided to offer me a whopping $38,400 and tried to justify the offer with the savings in taxes with the trade. The tax break would have still been $2600 less than if I just sold it to CarMax. So I told them to take the trade-in off and just give me the itemized breakout of the purchase. While sitting here waiting, I overheard another salesman telling a lady that other dealers say they will give the x number of dollars for a trade-in but when they bring it into them, they will find reasons to not give them that offer and she should just take what they offered her. The itemized breakout come out to be $12K over MSRP with taxes, tag included. I had to leave at that point. These people are only out to rip you off. The salesmen have no morals and will lie straight to your face. They are truly taking advantage of the market.

Beware of Scalpers

Just a heads up, this dealership is scalping there inventory currently so be warned. They are adding on Hennessy only things to the cars including a low rated dash cam, window tint, paint protection and so on to all inventory. Claiming it’s to give value rather then just scalping the MSRP normally. Keep in mind, it’s cheaper for you to buy tint, paint protection, dash cams and the other stuff when your not financing it on your vehicle! Expect a roughly $30k car MSRP to be around $40k walk out price (what I was offered). Ohh but the market is not great and inventory is short. False, go to other Hondas and I used a Hyundai for a comparison. Hyundai a car was $31k MSRP they markup to $35k walkout. *Walk out means with taxes and fees like your about to buy it

Great place to deal with.

Sales men Dominic was very great ! He was very professional and worked hard to get the price I thought it should be on my trade in. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and I would recommend Dominic and thus dealership to anyone. Positive experience.

2022 Honda Pilot Purchase
