My visit to Jim Ellis Mazda was a textbook example of why people hate car shopping. I was clear from the start: I am a partner employee using the Mazda S-Plan, I am shopping around, and I was not buying today. Despite this, David Travieso and Arselid Mucaj made the next hour a complete nightmare. David spent the entire time being a roadblock. He lied about S-Plan eligibility, claiming it doesn’t stack with the 0% APR promo (it does), and refused to let me even look at the CX-30 or CX-50. When he realized I wasn’t closing a deal on the spot, he became hostile and condescending. The lowest point was when he involved my fiancée in a blatantly misogynistic way, asking, 'You gonna let your girl drive a Ford?' after I mentioned I was also considering my Ford X-Plan benefits. To top it off, Arselid Mucaj got involved in the deception. Arselid explicitly told me he would text me the deal with the S-Plan pricing so I could compare it. Instead, he purposely sent me the generic online retail price of the car, completely omitting the S-Plan discount I’m entitled to. This dealership’s culture appears to be built on manipulation, gatekeeping, and a total lack of respect for women and partner employees. If you value your time, your family, and your sanity, stay away from David and Arselid. Jim Ellis should be ashamed of this level of service.

What more information do you need? I think my review was pretty clear. Your staff lied to me about my corporate policy program of which I read very clearly before arriving at your dealership And when I left David insulted my fiancée and myself Let me add that when I first arrived Derrick initially walked over to greet me, and I asked him at the very beginning if the S plan and the 0% financing could stack and he said yes. So one salesman says yes and confirms everything I read online but then another salesman, David, lies and says let me check with the back and doesn’t get me the promotional offer until I walk out the door. I asked repeatedly for the S plan price and I was never shown your invoice to verify. It wasn’t till I left and checked online that I realized David and Arselid were giving me your online price that is available to everyone.

Hilton was amazing to work with. He was helpful, experienced, and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. I clearly communicated what I was and wasn’t looking for in a vehicle, and he had multiple cars ready for me to test drive when I arrived. Everything was organized, including the paperwork, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. What truly stood out was that he went the extra mile to walk me through the operator’s guide and vehicle features, something you rarely see these days. I highly recommend doing business with Hilton.

Jim Ellis Mazda is my go to dealer. Their employees are professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I've been a customer for at least 20 years. I would not buy a car from another dealership. I've been working with Eddie in Service for years. He's very knowledgeable and honest. Hilton sold me my latest car. He went above and beyond for me. When I told him I was ready to buy, he came in on his day off. That's true dedication. Hilton was so patient with me. I knew what vehicle I wanted but wasn't sure of the color or the style of wheel. He didn't hesitate to find each one I requested and put them all side by side for me to compare. I have the utmost confidence in this Jim Ellis Dealership and their staff.

Is there a score lower than 0? Salesman Derrick Wynn sold my senior citizen father a Mazda 3, then cut his oil changes down to 2 (Beaver Mazda offers lifetime) as well as shortening his powertrain warranty, then Derrick accessed private personal information, used to it SHOW UP at my father's house (unannounced) and intimidated him into changing a negative review. To cap it off Jim Ellis refused to mail him his permanent plates as promised once the temporary expired.
