I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership back on 03/12 and by the time I'm writing this review, the car is no longer drivable. I haven't even owned it for a month (let alone make my first payment), and I'm not able to drive this car. And please note this is the reason I'm writing this review (and it's to bring awareness for those purchasing a used car from this dealership; it's BUYER BEWARE). The vehicle I purchased was a 2008 Nissan 350Z. Not much can be discovered by a test drive, but there was already a pre-existing problem with this car (that the dealership was probably not aware, but they would have if they actually followed through with their inspection checklist; the previous owner was definitely aware though). The reason I say it cannot be discovered by a test drive because the drive was limited (not more than 15 min, and test drive route was all city). Although I purchased this car "as-is," I did have the option of the 5-day buyback. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that buying from this Lexus dealership that every car they sell on their lot has been thoroughly vetted. But I was wrong. I live 45 min away, so when driving home (especially after a long drive on the highway), once the drivetrain properly warms up - suddenly I noticed it's harder to place the car into gear. And this only happens from a stop (once the car is fully stopped and needs to go into gear; common would be 1st, 2nd or reverse). I didn't think much of it because once I drove it home, I just parked it in the garage. The next day, I took it on a spirited drive through my backroads, and after 30 min I noticed it's harder to place into gear again after a full stop. By this point, I should've trusted my gut feeling and exercised the 5-day return policy. However, I enjoyed the car and I purchased this as a reward to myself (my company gave me my bonus, so this was my treat for the hard work and dedication I've done the past year). Therefore, the car rarely gets driven; I've only taken it out 4 more times since then. From a cold start (or once the car has been sitting for awhile), the problem with placing the car into gear is not a problem. But after driving for a certain time (as the drivetrain warms up), it is super tough to place into gear. Looking at the CarFax, I noticed the previous owner had this car serviced at a shop close to where I live. Since they were familiar with this car, I finally decided to have them inspect this problem. They told me that my clutch slave cylinder was failing, and this is a common problem with Z33 HR & Z34 vehicles. It's a known problem because there are companies that have created aftermarket kits to address this common issue. However, because of the design of my particular car (again, it's all Z33 HR & Z34 vehicles), while they replace this slave cylinder, it's best to also replace the clutch & master cylinder at the same time. Well, it's been a few days later and altogether I cannot put my gear into any gear (meaning the clutch is not disengaging). I wasn't looking forward to doing a $3000+ repair job, but this is upsetting to say the least. I take accountability on my end, so I'm posting this review just so others are aware to do more due diligence if deciding to purchase from this dealership. Please note that I've purchased other non-Lexus used vehicles from other local Lexus dealerships (Newport Lexus, Tustin Lexus) in Orange County, as well as other used vehicles from various Autonations in OC (Toyota Irvine, Toyota Cerritos, Honda Costa Mesa, Ford Tustin) - but this is first used car purchase where: (1) the car cannot be driven until repaired, and (2) it's a major repair cost.

I recently purchased a 2026 Lexus NX300h from Lexus of Cerritos, and I had a truly excellent experience with my sales associate Christopher Ledezma. He was very helpful throughout the entire process and took the time to clearly explain every detail, which made me feel very comfortable and confident with my purchase. What impressed me the most was the trade-in offer for my Honda CR-V ? he was able to give me a better price than two other used car dealers, which was a very pleasant surprise. The whole buying process was smooth and stress-free. He was attentive, patient, and made sure to take care of everything I needed along the way. I really appreciate his professionalism and support. Highly recommend!

I love Lexus of Cerritos. The counseling with Roy to buy a car was fantastic and he was a super expert and so friendly. I would visit this dealer whenever I want to buy additional car and get services from it. Possibly I can recommend my colleagues or friends to visit Lexus of Cerritos when needed. Once again, these all dealership attitude and expertise made myself buy a brand new car in the end. Thanks Roy and Lexus of Cerritos.

I had a great experience at Lexus of Cerritos. Joseph (Seunghan) was honest, not pushy, and made me feel confident in my purchase. He was very informative and walked me through everything clearly. The staff was welcoming, the office was clean, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Marlin M. made the signing process quick and easy. Overall, 10/10?highly recommend!
