I inherited my Dads 1998 chevy silverado z71 v8 4 wheel drive. Completely original no scratches dents or paint fading. It has been garaged all these years with 55,000 original miles. Great truck everything works.

I can’t find another truck to replace my 98’ , I bought it wit 65k on it and now has 188k. I see a lot of 98’ k1500 trucks still out there and I know why, there’s no replacing it. Smoothest running truck I’ve ever had. My mechanics rave how lucky I am to have one. Sure it needs repairs here and there, but nothing major. I know guys that have 200k to 350k miles, and still running strong. Best truck ever !!

My Dad bought the truck in 1998, needed a small amount of work to the speedometer, windshield wipers, and added Apple CarPlay, but anyways it’s mine for a couple years and it’s the best truck I could ask for, runs so smooth and the body is made of tough metal and feels god xxxx indestructible, unfortunately we’ll be selling it within the next year. Has just above 97,000 miles so it could definitely run for a good number of years after we sell it.

This is a great all around truck for your money and for the salt Air that comes from the ocean. .lovemyliftedchevy for the rest of my time here on earth!!!!

We love our new truck and really like the Max trailering package! The bells and whistles are great and love having the USB ports. Anxious to take a trip and then I can do a better review! PS Need to add 2000 to 2020 on drop down for years!

This k1500 Z71 is the most capable pick up I've ever seen . Mine has the heavy half rear axel and suspension . Aka the 14bolt rear axel . I've personally put this model through the test . Mud sand rock deep water you name it I did it . I've pulled 10k loads jumped it on train tracks . It should be broken down for good but it's not. 363k miles of horrible abuse and it still runs . If your an off. Roader buy it it truly is like a rock the only real problem is common with them CV axel boots . Wheel hubs . Transmissions . Other than that try to break it . I'm sure it will power through . These k1500 Z71s are legendary you wont regret owning it you will probably get a Z71 t shirt to wear as a badge of honor lol

My truck has been very good 2 me. Along with sentimental value, mechanically she's a gem! 5 speed manual tranny is strong. Towed many boats and campers. Have only replaced clutch twice! Still a baby with only 190,000 miles. Plan to get a few more hundred thousand.

Nice work truck, perfect for outside work and getting stuff hauled. Quite large, but has lots of power. Seem to have a good life on them, can do a lot of work for an older truck

This truck is a little outdated visually, but it does everything it is supposed to do - without exception. I love this truck, it pulls what I need it to pull, easy to clean, huge box and it?s even pretty fast with the Z71 engine. I used it for hunting, working and for commuting. Never failed me. Pulled friends out of ditches, hauled motorcycles to Sturgis and even beat a 2010 Charger V8 in a race.

I bought this truck in 2005 ran great until I had problems with it in 2008, but it got cleared up. I bought it with 107,000 miles on it and it has 274,000 miles on it now. I would not trade for a new truck. It has comfort, reliability, gas mileage is great, and it is paid for. just need a new motor. other than that I am happy with my truck with the 4x4.
