Affected vehicles include model-year 2024 Tundras equipped with the V35A engine. Debris accumulated during the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause a main bearing to fail, resulting in an engine stall and loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy is currently under development; necessary repairs for the issue will be free of charge. Owner notification letters will be sent July 6, but those with further questions can contact Toyota at 800-331-4331 (Toyota’s numbers for this recall are 25TB14 and 25TA14), visit Toyota.com/recall, call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
