Hyundai Recalls More Than 96,000 Tucson SUVs Over Instrument Panel Issue
Hyundai is recalling more than 96,300 Tucson SUVs over a software issue that may cause the instrument panel display to fail.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2025-26 Tucson, Tucson Hybrid and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid SUVs. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to stop working, preventing drivers from seeing critical information such as the speedometer or warning lights and increasing the risk of a crash.
To resolve the issue, the instrument panel display software can be updated via an over-the-air update or by a dealer for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 22, but those with further questions can contact Hyundai at 855-371-9460 (Hyundai’s number for this recall is 304), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
