GM’s latest recall affects more than 32,900 examples of its Chevrolet Corvette sports car and involves a rear turn signal.

Affected vehicles include coupe and convertible versions of model-year 2025-26 Corvettes, Corvette E-Rays and Corvette ZR1Xs. Due to a software error, drivers may not be notified that their rear turn-signal lamp is not working, increasing the risk of a crash.

To resolve the issue, the lighting control module software will be updated by a dealer or via an over-the-air update; both are free of charge. GM will begin notifying owners May 18, but those with further questions in the meantime can contact the automaker at 800-222-1020 (GM’s number for this recall is N252541250), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
