What Is the Bronco Filson?
Founded in 1897, Filson built its reputation outfitting prospectors headed for the Alaska gold rush before becoming a staple among outdoor enthusiasts. Today, the company sells outerwear and apparel geared toward hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.
The biggest changes come inside the cabin. The cabin is designed to be the quietest Bronco yet, using acoustic glass and enhanced seals to reduce wind noise by nearly 20% compared to the 2021 model. The cabin includes perforated, quilted leather seats with woven fabric trim, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, and brass accents on the steering wheel and driving-mode dial. Storage includes removable door-mounted saddle bags and optional cargo-area bags made from water- and dirt-resistant materials.
The Bronco Filson is powered by a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine with trim-specific tuning. The standard Sasquatch off-road package includes front and rear electronic-locking differentials and Fox shocks with internal-bypass technology. It features 35-inch rugged-terrain tires, the largest in its class, and a high-strength steel ladder frame. Off-road tech includes Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive and the Terrain Management System with seven G.O.A.T. (which stands for “Goes Over Any Type of Terrain”) modes. The Bronco Filson also includes a camera-based digital rearview mirror with a washer for clear visibility when fully loaded and a washer to clean the camera when it’s dirty.
In addition to Iron Sands Copper Metallic, available colors include Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Field Green Metallic, Marsh Gray, Oxford White and Shadow Black.
When Can You Buy One?
Orders for the Bronco Filson are expected to open in the fall, with deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2027. The Bronco Filson First Edition will be exclusive to North American buyers; the model adds several unique touches, including the Iron Sands Copper Metallic exterior, a distinctive fender badge and a serialized console bag commemorating the collaboration.
