2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Drops Price, Standard AWD
What Car Shoppers Need to Know
- New front-wheel-drive Tucson Hybrid SE trim level drops base price to $32,550 (all prices include $1,600 destination)
- FWD hybrid expected to return more than 40 mpg combined
- New Night trim level sits atop the range, adds black exterior accents to Limited
Hyundai is expanding the 2026 Tucson Hybrid lineup with a few late additions: two entry-level trims that drop the base price below $33,000 and a new range topper that adds more style to the Limited trim.
At the lower end of the Tucson Hybrid family sit the new FWD SE and SEL trims; previously, all-wheel drive was standard on the Tucson Hybrid. The FWD SE and SEL start $1,500 lower than their AWD counterparts but are otherwise identical.
At the opposite end of the Tucson Hybrid spectrum, the new Night trim builds off the Limited that previously sat atop the range. The Night trim gets in on the aging blackout trend, adding black 19-inch wheels, front and rear bumper trim, mirror caps and window trim. Only available in black, white and gray, the Night is otherwise identical to the Limited.
