Dodge Cuts Prices on 2025 Durango and Hornet; Lops Nearly $30,000 Off Durango SRT Hellcat

Dodge has cut prices for its mid-size 2025 Durango and compact Hornet SUVs. While the headline from the brand trumpets the V-8-powered Durango R/T as starting below $50,000 and the Hornet below $30,000, that ignores the usual asterisk, which is the unavoidable destination charge. Instead, both vehicles actually climb back to the high side of those milestones. Still, the price cuts are substantial.

A Hornet’s Worth of Savings on the SRT Hellcat

Things are even wilder with the Durango (as they tend to be when you’re talking about seven-seat family SUVs with 700-plus available horsepower). The entry-level GT trim falls $3,500, to $40,090; the R/T, which Dodge proudly points out is the last vehicle in its class with a V-8, lands at $51,590 after a drop of $4,500; and the SRT Hellcat, which has been available in one of three special-edition trims that included a full load of optional equipment, now starts at just $86,590. That’s not only $28,725 less than the SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey, Hammerhead and Silver Bullet editions, it’s $11,000 less than the regular SRT Hellcat cost for the 2024 model year.
