Video: 2017 Nissan Armada Review: First Impressions

Here it finally is in Nissan clothing, and it's got some important differences. Now, some people don't like the styling on the QX80 because they think it seems like it's melting. It seems like Nissan turned down the temperature a little bit with the Armada here which shares the same platform and overall profile as its Infiniti sibling but has a lot of bolder Nissan queues up front here including the brand's tradition of a V-shaped grill and much taller headlights. You look at it overall, it seems like it spent a little less time under the heat lamps. Now, cabin styling and materials are both very very similar to the Infiniti QX80 which is a pretty good thing if you're a Nissan shopper because oftentimes you'll see, you know, a non-luxury brand kind of cheap and things out versus its luxury sibling. Uh, very exceptional here especially when you're considering that people shopping this are gonna be shopping cars like the Chevy Tahoe, Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition. Now, the Armada seats up to eight people. Adults should have plenty of room in the second row and adequate room in the third row. But like in a lot of other full-size SUVs, the second row seats recline but don't move forward or backward. Now, the Armada's V8 makes a little bit less power than in the Infinity, but it recommends regular gas instead of premium. Another money saver, there will be an SV version of this vehicle with cloth seats. Should save you a little bit on the front end. We won't know about pricing until closer to the new Armada's on-sale-date this summer. [Trunk Closes]
