<v Announcer>Cars.com Auto Review. Hi, I'm Kelsey Mays for cars.com. We're at the LA Auto Show, checking out Rolls-Royce's new Ghost. This is the smallest, least expensive Rolls-Royce so far.
It was first shown earlier on this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We're going to take you through what's new about it and why you want it, but because it's a Rolls-Royce, you probably can't have it. The car is still a huge, it's about 213 inches long, that's minivan territory, and it weighs about a thousand pounds more than a Mercedes-Benz S 600 Sedan. But the cars V12 engine gets from zero to 60 in under five seconds, according to Rolls-Royce. That's really fast. Rolls-Royce says the leather in this car came from bulls that roamed in fields free of barbed wire. Kind of interesting. You can tell that there are a few BMW fingerprints here. BMW owns Rolls-Royce, this nob here in the center with the shortcut button, it looks a lot like BMW I-Drive, but overall, the fingerprints are pretty scant. This is definitely a different sort of beast. It's an utterly stunning car, but Rolls-Royce says it'll cost you about $250,000. And up from there, if you add options. Well, think about it this way. This week's Powerball $69 million dollars, so even after taxes, you could probably still buy a 150, maybe 160 of these. I might go buy a ticket. <v Announcer>For more car related news, go to cars.com or our blog kickingtires.net.
